Paint in the morning. Lot of real estate to sand!

So, two weekends ago on an exploration trip. I kind of ripped my fender flares off, broke a mount for my top light bar, and broke a few other tid bits. I am now in the process of filling the holes from the flares and repainting. I also don't have a rear bumper at the moment because my friend and I are in the process of making one.

Did you pop the hood and try to join in?

Nope. Their hoods were closed so I kept mine closed. I didn't want to embarrass them with my 3FE that has 20x more miles than what theirs will ever have.

Transmission service and while I was at it installed a sender and some wires for a temp gauge. Had no clue of the history of my A442F other than the PO told me that the first owner whom, he bought it from, had replaced the trans with 200k on the clock and now at 264k. The fluid that drained out looked new and the inside was spotless with a very thin film inside the pan. I can now assume it's not a rebuilt unit because I found a paper tag attached on top that was from a toyota recycler in Sacramento. I was impressed with how deep the trans oil pan is and the heavy gauge metal Toyota used. That made it nice for installing the sender in the drivers side.

Got my Drawer System coated with RhinoLiner Did mine a little different with 2 28 inch drawers and three compartments with lids

Do you have a built thread for those drawers? They look awesome!

Took a trip down to Florida to see our Hobie dealer about getting all the new parts we ordered for the Hobie 16. If anyone had heard of the bad storm that hit Mobile Bay a few weeks ago during the Dauphin Island Race regatta we were in it and suffered some damage to our boat. Some others weren't so lucky. http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2015/04/helena_sailor_recalls_dauphin.html

Anyways. Took the boat and the cruiser down there and got to test out my new CVT tent. This is the Mount Rainer model.

What length Hi-Lift jack is that?

I am trying to make the decision between a 48 and 60 inch model for mine
Thanks
TP
60. 48 is barely adequate. That's what I have. Depends on your lift and whatnot of course.

Committed mass murder of a bazillion bugs and three filthy grackles on a trip to Minnesota and back.

I intended just to go to my mom's house in NW Iowa all weekend,, but my friend, a genuine female bad*ss, invited me to attend a conference on women in combat at the Mall of America Sunday, where I hung out with the author of "Ashley's War"

Put about 600 miles on Marjan in the process. Absolutely no leaks or drips from the engine after re-FIPGing both pans.
