Dad took the 80 to Lexus for an oil change and cleaned her up once he got home.. I'm glad they are enjoying it as much as I will when I get home! Notice the 100 Series across the street.. its got over 400k miles and the motor knocked like crazy last time I saw it however it remains her daily driver

It's amazing what they look like after you clean them up for an hour or two. Great looking cruiser!

Little Friday night fun. I threw the back 2/3 of the sleeping platform together. Will throw the other 1/3 together Sat or Sun and throw the carpet on it. Still need to add the middle support to it but haven't decided to go 50/50 for drawers or 60/40. Probably going 60/40. Wanted to sleep on it. She ain't fancy but she'll do. Very utilitarian. Like my 80... :flipoff:

I am in the US West coast with the wife for 2 weeks and am enjoying seeing lots of 80's on the road..

Go for a coffee this morning and see this....

Then met the owner Jeffe13 and had a chat in the rain, nice bloke, good to see how the mud community works.

Padre Island National Seashore. Mile marker 60. Followed a big storm the whole way. Since it was raining the beach was vacant and packed down so we drove the whole 60 miles yesterday. Perfect weather today.
