Well not done this weekend but finally finished making and fitting custom fit 100% cotton canvas seat cover for my 80. And I must say I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

UPS man was good to me. Actually found a BFG KM2 315/75-16 on Amazon of all places where every tire shop and Tire Rack failed me. Slee arms ready for this weekend!

Had 4wheel auto in Edmonton fix a leak on my injector pump, and install a power rod fuel pin while they were at it.

Seems like she's got way more pull off the hop, and better take off at almost any speed and rpm. Blows a lot of black smoke in the low end if I tromp on it. Curious what that will look like on veggie oil

Pretty happy with the mod, but that lightning fast 24v start laggs now. Maybe because the cylinders are getting flooded? Actually that part I'm super disappointed about. I really loved that 24v jolt start.

To test it all out, drove over to Hinton, then hopped on the Forestry Trunk Road toward Calgary. Took me about 5 hours to get 300km and after dogding too many deer and wild horses, I elected to get back on pavement at 12am, near Sundre.

Even that short section of that road deserves three or four days. So many camping locations!

Did you happen to make another full set in brown?!?

That looks awesome.

Pulled the Ironman castor plates and installed Slee control arms. Tightened up the panhards. Moved the hinges to the short side on my Edgestar.

Very nice! I am reading my 94 front cushions with OEM foams. My fabric covers are in such good shape I decided to stick with them. I find it amazing that these seat covers are in such good shape after 21 years and 265k!
