Installed the new seat covers. The best $25 I spent. A lot durable than I thought the would be. I ended up taking the seats out to install. Took about 30mins.

I got these in the digicamo around Christmas. Ordered them on a whim figuring that they couldn't be that great for the price. I was wrong. They are great. Congrats.

Taught my wife how to use a Hi-Lift jack.

Checked to see if the stock Toyota jack could be used to change a tire with 285/75/16's... yes it can!

Finally installed front and rear axle breathers, terminated up and over brake booster.

The only thing I am concerned about here is that you should have blocks on BOTH sides of BOTH rear tires. The HiLift will rock either direction and the truck can roll ONTO it or AWAY from it, depending on conditions. (Same with using the Toyota jack)

Good Job on showing the wife how to use it!

You need a longer pipe........(I mean for the Hi Lift, but that could be intended for the wife too......)

Hi there! That's me...all the way from Texas. Which apparently, sucks. ;)

Today I finally got my shifting problem fixed (goes into L instead of D) by replacing the neutral safety switch. I didn't know those could do that, doesn't seem like it should, but it did. And I got new brakes all around. I went with a Powerstop Z26 drilled and slotted kit. We'll see how they work out.

I pulled the front diff and sent it off to Zuk to re-gear to 4.88 and also find out where the howl is coming from (pinion bearing is suspect), and while the rig sits on jack stands in my driveway I can't help but fiddle with her. Brown Santa came today with fixin's for several projects - front axle seals from Marlin, rear hub seals and bearings, DBA T3 rotors, Al's Liner & custom tint from R&E Paint, a few cans of Krylon Camo Olive, and a sheet of perforated aluminum mesh to hopefully finish off my Satoshi grill. Rig is going OD Green/Grey. Lots to do! Rear diff next!

Showed my girlfriend how to use the hi-lift one day, warned her about the viscous upswing when letting it down. She didn't listen and caught the handle to the chin lifted her off her feet. She is Lucky it didn't break her little jaw.

^ I'm not liking it because I'm glad it happened, I'm liking it because people should know how to use a Hi-Lift. Of course this makes my earlier comment about another mudder's GF taking it on the chin a little less funny :(

I read that right after I posted lol! She is only maybe 120 lbs and it literally took her off her feet. She's a tough girl, I've seen her do some painful things without a tear but she bawled hysterically when she took that hit

I mean...yeah that really sucks. Glad she still has her jaw in place with no teeth knocked out. I like my Hi-Lift, I've used my Hi-Lift but I know the risks of my Hi-Lift.

Honest officer, I didn't hit her. It was that hi-lift jack.... I know officer, you don't usually use one in your driveway where your not stuck but I ...

Yea, that doesn't end well.

Did this first thing this morning. Looks like there is a small chance that it was bad. As is evidenced by the lack of any rubber.
