What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (119 Viewers)

I installed some hood struts to keep from getting decapitated while looking around under the hood. The factory struts were done.

I noticed that I was getting water intruding through the gaps in my window runs. Made a call to CDan and ordered replacement runs for all six windows. Replacing the front four took less than 30 minutes: amazing how much of an impact the new ones have on the look of the truck. I wasn't able to get to the sliders, nor do I think I'll tackle that on my own. Sounds like they're none too easy to remove.

UPDATE: While they look great, they didn't solve the problem. It rained and the windows still leak like a sieve. I took a closer look and it looks like the runs still fail to form tight seals against the windows. Poured water on them and sure enough there was a waterfall inside the door.

Got these Castor Plates from XXi Industries installed, car drives alot not nicer now. Im not feeling every bump through the wheel anymore.
I'm just waiting for them to finish development on the ultimate suspension setup and see if it can be engineered, 5" legal lift with awesome road manners is worth every penny in my book

Leatherique application to the front seats and doors.

I did the rejuvenator oil soak n steam and then removed the gunk with their pristine clean. It cleans so good it wiped away some die in a spot or two :(

Only where I rubbed hard. After that it seems more cleaner and less pressure was the key. Wish I woulda known. However the affected areas were not OEM leather but replacement leather installed 10 yrs ago.

Hey I recognize that pig!

:bounce:
Yeah, we talked about you a bit while admiring the Pig. Your 80 looks great, glad you're enjoying it too.

Took an inch and a half off the garage header. Now it fits without airing down or putting fat chicks on the tailgate!

  • More Pickle footage from Moab. I rubbed my passenger front flare at this point and had to back out and hug the left closer to pass.
