Hauled this bad boy home. After towing quite a bit more since I built my trailer I realized I want a diesel in the 80.

Repainted my window guards to match the interior. I suck at painting but I got great results with this paint.

Worked a bit on this... Still have some adjustments to make on the panhard, but so far it cycles well.

Did a trany flush. Pulled off the upper cooler hose and let her drain out. Looked like it was way over due. Glad I finally did it.

Went wheeling on broken arrow trail outside of Sedona. I didn't see one Land Cruiser, I did see a Toyota pick up. The rest were all two and four-door jeeps! We got to represent!

Details please.
How does it handle ? Looking to do something similar.

Handles about the same... So far it's great, but keeps everything high and tight. Opens up the back of the axel for 3 link & hydro upfront ect...

Didn't like the charcoal grey I did on my collectors edition rims that are now on my white 97 so I powder coated the spokes in "chrome" which looks most like polished aluminum. I wiped the chrome off the windows to mimic the factory two tone, then put powder coat clear over it all. Not perfect but they look great

The center caps were just for masking, I popped them off before baking

Got my new hankook atm tires in 285/75/16 and mounted the rims. Looks much better

Replaced my Dome fuse under the hood after figuring out why my; radio, cigarette lighter, clock, and dome lights stopped working... The factory amplifier was shorting out somehow, and after going through a few threads someone mentioned unplugging it... IT WORKED!

Went through a BUNCH of fuses for the inside fuse block under Gauges, one of my transfer case switch wires came apart and shorted out. Lost all power to the gauges which includes: tach, speedo, fuel, temp, oil pressure, voltage, dash illumination, HVAC controls, power windows, sunroof, and overdrive....

@dogfishlake those rims look great!

Don't forget to clean off the lug-nut seats and the mounting face.
Or at least be vigilant about checking torque every month.
