Replaced the replacement Moog control arm bushings after less than 5k miles with oem. It was worth the try to save a few hundred but I would recommend oem, especially if you are not pressing them yourself. The non oem looked the same but on a lifted truck started to tear after being flexed offroad. You can tell the oem is a better quality rubber when you hold them side by side. Also installed caster plates so I can relax on my weekly freeway journey to my cabin for the weekends. Why didn't I put them on long ago???

Exactly. I have a feeling Jose and Guppy are going to find out the hard way as well :(

assisted ChaseTruck with his Blazer, whose alternator had died, prepared to potentially donate some Lexus electrons - he made it, thanks to his second battery

we had just taken an afternoon ride through a local canyon/wash, ~13 miles on dirt - nice afternoon bounce-around in the desert :steer:

not sure if this references the many underbody coating queries I've posted or a stock underbody coating I'm defiling by de-oiling - can you help me out?

I just hit a few spots that looked like they might be showing excessive oil, hope I'm not taking anything useful off

Stock under coating is probably have missing spots from years of road debris. So all the oil is a good rust inhibitor. Fresh oil from leak is pretty easy to spot because the dirt hasn't covered it up yet. :)

They rocked off my favorite beach so you cant drive down it. Just a small obstical for the cruiser.

Those are awesome cases. I've got a couple of smaller Pelicans and love them. What is it that your company does? I'm assuming those are coming from your work? Looks like some sweet LED light setups also. Are you in the film industry?

Yes I'm in the film industry on the product development side. These cases are all at George P. Woodcock's. Love the name.

We've done 100k+ with them so a few cases they didn't seem fit to charge me for. :D

Whoa, that's like $15k in cases - I've seen what those LEDs sell for. My buddy knew a dealer that was clearing out his excess inventory for really cheap. Still regret not buying a few. Although I have no idea what I would have used the LED lights for. Only thing I could think of was setting up a base camp like in the movie Congo :flipoff2:

Got to test out the new Wilson 5 band booster out in Moab. Very pleased with the results. The only area I lost service was on Golden Spike in a pretty narrow tucked away area.

And for when not on the trail I can just hang it here

Ha, they wound up giving me four:
- Pelican 1510 (largest for carry on)
- Pelican 1500
- Storm iM2300
- Storm iM2600
