Finally took the time to install the Safari Snorkel. Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Luckily I have a very flexible neighbor and I was able to get all of the washers and nuts installed. All that's left now is to my install my Slee AC drier skid plate and order sliders then I'll be done for a while.

Signal boosters have an ability to cause inference for wireless carriers. One person with a booster can take down multiple sites just because those things have a habit of going bad. I have personally spent days looking for offenders in my market to finally find them and politely ask then to shut them down or I end up serving them with FCC paperwork telling them to shut the things down. Not all are bad or go bad but the problem is unless you have a spectrum analyzer so you can constantly look at the thing you will never know when it goes bad but the system performance engineers that work for the cellular companies sure will.
Just my 2 cents.

Put in a tow hitch... and don't yell at me, I tow light. Next week I'll add a crossmember at the back.
New brakes, engine oil, tran oi, filters. feels like new!

Drove and hauled my Willy's to Pismo Beach for a Father's Day camping trip with friends and family. It's the first time I hauled that far, I was impressed the way she performed. I did about 10mpg with 3500lbs behind me. On the way home, I was a turtle on the slope and I was doing 40mph (2nd gear) on the mile and a half uphill past Morro Bay.

The two cents needs to be updated. Not trying to be a dick ( you're very right on the older models) but the FCC put out a ton of regulations for boosters to be released after March 2014 to make them Function with far superior reliability (such as the ability to communicate directly with serving site / eNB.) So if a network element feels it is or can cause degradation then it's supposed to kill the connection to the booster. Specifically to keep the aforementioned interference and headache from happening. I totally 100% agree with your post when referring to the older boosters. They are definitely imperfect. That's actually why I waited to get the one I am using. After researching the new regs, checking / verifying specs (for this booster. I can't speak for any of the others), lengthy conversations with the people at Wilson, and speaking with the guys at SP/ODI for the carrier I work for. I am confident this model won't cause harm or issue.
Also, and no offense here. But if I ever am broke down or in need of service and in an area where the only service I get on my UE is through the booster then the last thing on my mind is the headache that someone is being paid to have should the booster get wonky.
All above being said. I would still highly recommend the one I have. Wilson 460108 is the model. I was expecting some okay improvement from it. I was pretty impressed with how well it actually worked. After a Thursday-Sunday trip in southern Utah I lost service one time for about a 1/2 mile area on Golden Spike. The rest of the 145 miles of trails I didn't have any loss of service. If you have any concerns give the guys at Wilson a call. They are pretty knowledgeable.
