I'll probably get a bill from some HOA lawyer since I demanded the guy define maintenance (its not defined in the HOA bylaws).

Don't get rid if the rust inhibitor/proofing!

not sure if this references the many underbody coating queries I've posted or a stock underbody coating I'm defiling by de-oiling - can you help me out?

I just hit a few spots that looked like they might be showing excessive oil, hope I'm not taking anything useful off

I think he was just making a joke about all the oil under the truck... Because oily steel/iron doesn't rust.

Ha. Of course. That's probably my truck's reaction to moving from Albuquerque to NYC winter, the anti-salt force field

I got legal involved with HOA. Learned it's nearly impossible to win.
I'm a quasi-attorney (lol, soon I hope). Less than a year left in law school and a few years of legal experience under my belt. Last time the hoa attorney tried to charge me $100 for a form letter and billed it as time spent. Threatened to report him to the state bar because that's a big no-no, at least here in Fla. You can't charge time spent preparing the original form or for administrative tasks when using a form letter.

Took the LX out to go on a little hike...
