If the drivers side is painfully slow and it takes 45 seconds to go up, it can be fixed. Mine was the same way.

I finally got her out to do some local wheeling with friends. For the owner of the green Jeep it was his first time offroad. The red jeep owner had some experience in the mud. Both of the Jeeps were clanging, creaking, thumping, and clunking on the trail while the Land Cruiser was whisper quiet. Honestly I have very limited offroad experience but both guys wanted me to lead just in case things got hairy.

Although no one got stuck, I want a sticker that reads Official Jeep Recovery Vehicle

with having already hit -35C a couple time this year already, i felt bad for my LX being as it didn't have a powered parking spot, So i cleaned up the garage

the goal however was to be able to get to the back counter for working on small projects like headlight swaps, grill conversions, dash panel mods and so on

Mission accomplished the garage with the TACO in winter was un-usable, with the LX we can around it front and rear, and da car has lots of space

Taught my 4 year old daughter how to change the oil. (Meanwhile my 9yo son was conveniently nowhere to be found.) She was very fascinated and quite the helper. I swear I'm going to work for her in her repair shop some day.

Installed my yellow box, and calibrated it to correct the odometer....super easy install with the optional plug n play harness...just left it to live under the truck...should do fine

Pics?

Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD

Sorry no pics...but the v5 yellow box is very compact and epoxy sealed...with only 2 micro switches exposed and a red and green led...it's barely bigger than a book of matches....just unplug the speed sensor at the t case...plug in the new harness...plug OEM wiring into new harness and zip tie outta the way...

power steering pump rebuild. Sounds like the gear is ticking :o

I removed the Transmission oil pan and installed a new Filter, I was surprised to see that there was a aftermarket gasket in there. I guess the PO had used a Non Toyota filter kit somewhere along the way.

Installed Pioneer TS-G1644R speakers in the front doors. The sound is amazing compared to the stock speakers.

Finally installed my suspension and got some new treads. I went with j's in the front and heavies in the rear with 315 km2's. No action shots yet but these will have to do

Pulled the fuel injectors to send out for refurbishing.
Took me about 4 hours. Exhausting but fun.

A buddy took this pic of my truck. Says he's not a fan of the stinkbug look. I don't see a problem....

Sits level when my dog sits in the back.
