Replaced my rotted rear Diff. with a salvage unit. Picked it up for $450- which included (almost new) Rotors, Calipers and pads. Fully functioning ebrake cable, and all arms in good shape! Removed all surface rust and POR-15 it.
Also installed OME 4" lift and 305's Hankook MT. I've owned a bunch of 'Yota Trucks...but loved none as much as this Land Cruiser. After replacing all of this, "Oscar" drives like new!

Started installing the Scion T1809. Still need to get the iPod cable, but otherwise it's plug and play. Pretty cool features on the display. I chose the old analog needles. Had to trim the stock brackets about 1/16" to get them to fit. Now I have to trim the dash piece. I hate to do it, but I think it'll look good.
Most of the silver bezel will get covered up with the dash installed.
My OEM radio has never had a display and the cd didn't work, so it's nice to have that now!

Got it done and I thinking looks pretty good. Had to do some trimming, but still within the boundaries of the radio window.
Went to SMORR with friends, and family. Had a blast!
Don't hate me for wheeling with jeepers they invited me to be in their pic. I just feel bad that my beautiful cruiser is going to steal the show when they brag to their friends and loved ones about their jeep thing. B-) jk

While trying to fix my window modulator (fail), I decided to lube driver and passenger side window components and bought some pink insulating foam for sound deadening. Seems to work pretty good. $8 roll at Home Depot. Didn't want to spend the money on Dyamat.
Took the family our for the last "kids" camping trip of the year. My middle one has bad asthma, and cold air sets her off, so with a nice weekend on tap we headed out with some friends. Daddy and mommy will be going snow camping in a month or so.
Cut up my ARB tonight. Finished the 8274 rebuild completely. Now to find some assistance to get it mounted.
Got in some easy trails, my boys had fun! Good day! Maine is real pretty this time of year...
