Nice pics! Just getting back from moab last week, being out there alone without a truck to follow is down right spooky at times!

Got some silicon hose and clamps to replace PHH or bypass but after looking at it I realized PO had someone bypassed already, used standard hose but feels soft and probably won't need replacement for a while. Instead I did the rear heater bypass, it was pretty easy and the only hard part was cutting old tubs away. Might still replace the current bypass hose later today.

I changed the battery, tightened the belts, cleaned the afm, cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the air idle control valve, adjusted the valves, adjusted the timing, changed the vapor canister, changed spark plugs, added a missing o2 sensor(!) and added a 400 watt power inverter to power up the computer and phones on long trips. it was a busy week

Added some rock lights a buddy gave me...

in may I took the family up to Tennessee for GSMTR for my first real mountain experience. The truck was great but we went on a very difficult trail that turned out to be meant for ATVs. it took about 10 hours, it rained and got dark about halfway so it was pretty interesting for this Florida boy and my wife thinks that trail was the worst experience of her life. Any way I broke a stud off my third member and my rear end leaked from every seal after that night of flogging so I finally got around to fixing it. New pinion seal, third member stud and all bearings and seals replaced in the rear end.

Finally got around to adding some 1" rubber spacers to remove the stink bug stance and even things out.

I didn't realize the stink bug was the main reason why I felt I was missing something until it was removed. Now I can really appreciate the truck and I love the even stance!!!!

I'm sorry, did you mention something about an 80. Cause all an can focus on is that 70. LOL

Had a great first time at Elbe Hills with a buddy and some random Jeeps we met at the trail. Some people seemed surprised to see the 80 there. I had to pull my buddy from a water hole (the rest of us were smart enough to bypass). The Cruiser performed flawlessly. The ARBs made things easy. Minor damage underneath the drive's rear door. Clear reason why you DO NOT Offroad in Washington WITHOUT sliders. Really need to get those fabed up.

Nice pics. I agree you need sliders asap. That's the first mod that should go on a truck your going to be wheeling.

Charcoal canister and vacuum lines

Finally got around to installing the new (aftermarket) charcoal/vapor canister. This write-up is what I followed: https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/412261-charcoal-canister-great-option.html

I also replaced all the small vacuum lines that I got from CDan a while back. Does anyone know if the circled line is vacuum line? It is looking pretty crispy and since I have a bit of the line I used to replace the vapor canister lines (seems to be the same diameter), I'm thinking of replacing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Last three weekends worth of projects in preparation for a 2 1/2 week, 2500 mile trip to Oshkosh.

Fixed passenger power seat gear using the mud supplied kit.

Cleaned the carpet, mats, and seats, put on new seat covers up front.

Dug out my rear window/rear door curtains. Still need to find my window and sunroof screens.

Added a little bit of r134 to boost the AC efficiency.

Exchanged starting battery for new group 27 (last week of warranty). Batt dated 6/13 New 36 month free replacement.
Replaced aux battery with new Group 29 deep cycle. Batt dated 6/13 with 24 month free replacement. Dual batt installation was done a few years back, but needed a freshening up.
Added fused 4 gauge power lead from aux battery to rear quarter panel for power panel. 6 circuit panel that feeds 3 CLA adapters, and 3 pairs of banana jacks for various chargers. I will put a sealed 12 volt plug up front in the grille to connect up float charger/solar charger to aux. Need to add ground block in the rear quarter before i pull the plastic cap off the new aux battery. Aux has a 100 amp solid state surepower separator, 1ga welding wire in loom over to a 150 amp circuit breaker to the starting battery. Separator has a switch on the dash to manually combine, or keep em separated (now you have that song stuck in your head too....)

Oil change/filter
Transmission drain/refill.
Front pumpkin drain/refill.
Greased the front knuckles
Greased the driveline. Noticed a squeak in the front driveshaft. dropped the shaft and replaced front ujoints. Needle bearings where shot in one of the cups.....i guess at 204,000 miles it was time...

Replaced front shocks with new OEM's, and added a cheap 1 inch rubber spacer to offset a bit of stinkbug.....really need to do OME Stock height springs...
While the tires were off, checked the preload on the front end star nuts, checked tie rod ends and other misc little bits, and brake pad wear.

In process:
New Yokohama Geolander ats II's 285/75/16 get mounted this week. Replacing same tires that have 65k + on two, 75k + on the other two (two were replaced free due to road hazard "incident"). I highly recommend those Yokos.....ATS, not the HTS.. This is my 3rd set on them in over 150k + miles, all have seen lots of off pavement. I could prob get another 10k out of this set, but its time.

To do list:
Flush brake fluid with new dot 4 synthetic.

Bypass PHH, do a coolant flush/refill.

Rear shocks (I put in a set of air lift bags in the rear with a cut down bumpstop that gives about 1-1.5 inches of lift back in 2005. Highly recommend the air lift kit.)
Rear diff drain/refill.
Transfer case is relatively new mobil 1 synthetic gear oil. I've not seen water, so it should be fine.
Install 7 wire trailer plug.
Wire hot lead from rear power panel to 7 wire socket. (these two arent mission critical)

RainX the snot out of the glass, and maybe replace the OEM wiper blade inserts with some new OEM inserts.

Make grille/cooking tray over exhaust manifold for some hot lunches :grinpimp:

Hahaha I know what you mean? I don't know whose 70 that was but it looks sick!!! The 35's went a long way in giving it such an aggressive stance haha.

Check the vacuum hose diagram sticker on the bottom side of the hood. It's the white sticker plastered with ih8mud
