Replaced my old rotors, calipers and pads on the front axle. Still have a few other things to finish up before testing.

In with the new...

So shiny! I've got to work on my calipers soon... debating on rebuilding and cleaning myself (assuming they're in good enough shape to do that) or get new like those... the bling makes me want new.

Began a deflaring, LOL.

The hard way to do it.

I wasn't going over the log.

Finally made it with the help of a winch and snatch block.

^^ Now thats a log!! Surprised no one has taken it to the mill....
Were you in a park?

Plutonius, I think I liked the blue better. We need a better pic of the new color....

All I did was drive mine, put some grease in the knuckles and check the rest of the fluids.
My front differential has some grease in the fluid, but my knuckles are clean grease. I think I must need seals, but wouldn't the grease and fluid be mixed in both cavities? Anyone? Or is it normal for the grease to seep from the knuckle to the diff over time?

Hehe, yeah, I know. It's gotta weigh less than an ARB or similar though.

It's about time you thought of adding a bumper to your rig. I bet that thing is heavy though.

This was on a public road (Sky Ranch Rd) between Oakhurst, CA and Fish Camp (near Yosemite National Park). That was on the way back out; going in I just crawled right alongside of it with a spotter directing.

Installed my new bior tube bumper!

^ Awesome! That rig keeps getting better and better!!!!

First I changed my timing belt (200,000k), adjusted my idle down to 700 from 1100, installed the window visors I received from IanB (sorry to hear about your terrible situation). Then I drove 500 km to buy an M101A2 trailer.
Also put together a working webasto. Have yet to install it, but I still have 2 days left in my "weekend".
The perks of working 15 days and getting 6 off!!

Glad to hear you got them OK, post pics! And thanks.

Wheels/Rims  Stock look pretty good and a good wheel IMHO.

Rims are definitely one of those personal preference type things. But I agree, the stock rims are hard to beat. Unless your going with beadlocks or over a 35" tire...
