I love it when the screws all come out in one piece.

was that a shop that did it or you? what did it end up running ya?
I actually know a guy who is a retired upholsterer. So he teaches me a little and does the more difficult stuff - costs me a lunch. Not sure what it would cost at a shop, it was relatively easy and took us about an hour, hour and a half taking our time. Hundred bucks if you found the right guy I bet.

12V out of a '93, now 105k miles on the swap.

And thanks, we're excited about new home but nothing compares to Montana... for me. Steelhead are pretty exciting, however. Only guide my friends and family, not professionally!
Nice. Auto or manual? I ask because I have a diesel swap as well and am always curious in others mpg.

I hear you on Montana. No other place like it. Oregon coastal steelhead are amazing. I highly recommend a switch rod.

What kind of mpg are you getting? I just got 18mpg. Filled up at 330 miles but had a 1/4 tank left. Most of the drive was at 65 mph

Well, the trip odometer gives me about 415 miles for 20 gallons. I wait until the gas warning light comes up and refuel immediately and it always takes 20.1 gallons or so to fill it again.

But GPS shows my odometer is off about 6 mph or 8% at highway speeds. So my guess is 22.5 mpg with a lot of highway cruising and some fun acceleration. I've gotten that three times on longer fishing trips now.

I'm hoping that taller tires will drop my revs and see some more improvement in mpg.

Daily driving the diesel with 35's i saw 16-17. My best few tanks were cruising at 65 for long periods and I saw 19.9 and 20.2

Busy weekend I started with the Delta tail gate storage. I then removed the hard water line to drill and tap for the temp sensor, routes the wires and spliced into the gauges. Added an interior MOLLE panel to the console finally swapped in my dash LEDs and got the D back!

I got the trans union from Radd Cruisers that comes pre tapped but I’ve run into a wall trying to find an adapter for the OEM sensor port can anyone shed some light on this?

Tell me about the led lights and the two switches that are on the back seat side of the delta console?

Manual, NV4500. I get 16-17mpg normally, which seems low but could be a tune thing. My final drive ratio is ~3.70 (4.88 diff gears from the previous owner and a 9% underdrive in the t-case that I installed) and I’m running 315s. I hear about other people getting the mythical 23mpg and wonder how I can get there. I’d be sad about it, but my truck makes considerably more power than the stock gas motor and somewhat better fuel efficiency so it’s hard to complain too much.

Truck is back from paint, and getting a full exterior / interior rebuild.

Glass out color change to 045 White
Deflared
Poverty pack chrome trim / handles / black mirrors
Sunroof delete
Roof rack delete
Rear wiper delete
Quad headlights
New emblems
Fresh powdercoat on bumpers and sliders
Radius snorkel / airbox
Sound deadening
And a thousand other things I'm sure I'm forgetting

I just stripped all my aftermarket stuff off for this. Keeping it green as I don’t want to do the inside and stuff but also doing roof rack delete, flare delete.

Looking awesome. What tool did you use to cut your fender for the snorkel? I have a radius sitting in a box, really need to get around to installing it.

Got some reduction gears from @swamp-thing. Getting ready to go to 10 under on high, 3.1:1 and part time kit. My vicious coupling is starting to lock up after long highways drives and makes my 80 sound like a jalopy when I pull into gas stations. The tcase gets pretty warm driving from salt lake to St George or Moab like we have been doing frequently

Interested on how well this install went and how was your out-come? Happy? wish you went more or less?

Not the person, but I used an reciprocating air saw to cut most of the metal out, and a 1/2" belt air sander to fine tune the fender for my Radius air intake.
