Hung out with some buddies and camped at swamp lake. A little bit of a drive, but well worth it.

Rear heater was deleted by previous owner. It looks like it came from the drivers side by the radiator and dripped down to the low point across to the passenger side.
I'm thinking the O-Rings in the pipe just above the thermostat housing. Mine started leaking there after I traveled for a month and the truck sat. Otherwise, it's a DD.

As you drive it, it may "seal itself" again, but move all the hoses and O-Rings and T-Stat and cap up on your list for a refresher.

what did you fill the holes with? or was that a weld. I cant tell from the picture. looks good though.
Also interested in how you filled the holes if not just welded.

I just used J-B Weld SteelStik. After the primer and paint, I think it will be fine. I had never used it before, but saw it referenced in another roof rack delete thread, so thought I would try it. Obviously I wouldn't use it on anything load bearing, but it seems to have done the job in this case. I will still keep an eye on it to see how it holds up.

FINALLY!!! My Land Cruiser is going into Avid Cruisers in Mesa, AZ to have some work done on her.

The wire harness, injectors cleaning, o-rings/isolators/fuel rail spacers, knuckles, and power steering pump are all getting done. It will be nice to drive her again.

After she gets back I have a plans for it, getting the WeBoost installed, Wits End 1/4 panel mount installed and power run.

Cool.
While you are there can you ask Brandon when we are all getting our bumpers? Been waiting for 7 month for mine?

Well I had plans to do my driveline trouble shooting but came back to a a dead battery. Got that back up and going. This morning I wanted to start it and I let it idle for about 20 minutes and came back to a total surprise.

Coolant leak, about 3/4 of the reservoir gone now. I need to get more coolant to before starting it again to look for a source. Any ideas on this aggressive of a leak? Truck has been sitting here for 2 weeks so no clue what would have caused this.

Isn't that the approximate location of the white plastic rad drain plug, AKA the "c0ck?" Could it have worked itself loose or have a bad gasket?

Installed one of my Yodateq flip up windows the other day. A bit of rust repair was needed on the lip of the opening. What I didn't expect was for the frame to be rotted. I was able to clean it up enough to make it work, but it'll have to be replaced at some point. I have heard that the frame isn't needed if the gaskets for the one piece glass is used. Anybody know the truth about that?

I used the one piece window rubber and the one piece window rear vents as well. It made a very clean and easy swap.

Whose testicles are hanging from your attic rack?

Intended wheeling at Hidden Falls Adventure Park didn't happen due to thunder storms, but did get to camp for a couple of nights. Got rained on a bit no big deal when you can just throw the wet tent and ground cloth on the rack for the ride home. 🍻
