The ebay knock offs were pretty good?
Yup, fit well, paint was perfect, and the small black/gold logo looked good for a non-stock/non-original interpretation of the original. Still not sure which ones I will use.

On a whim day trip to Bowman Lake. Can't believe I've lived in the bay area my entire life and never knew all this area existed. lol

One of my favorite areas, been going there regularly since I moved to the area in '09. It's changed a lot. Several years back you could find great campsites for the weekend. Now you're lucky if you find somewhere to park. These days we only go up there mid-week and after September to avoid the crowds.

Not exactly to the 80, but I bought back and drove back from MI to WA my old 1st gen Taco, the car that got me into 4x4 and 90s Toyotas!

Brought my GX460 back from Arkansas to Seattle last weekend. Hope you had a better trip than I did ...

I was planing to take a southern route, since I had to drop a friend in Portland before heading back to Seattle, but there was supposed to have some nasty weather in Iowa and Nebraska. So we decided to go a bit north and it ended up being rain free, except of course for my drive from Portland to Seattle yesterday.

Weather was great for my whole drive, apart from the epic thunderstorm in west Kansas that broke my windshield, but somehow didn't dent the truck.

Yeah, not complaining. Just found out that OEM glass is backordered currently and may take as much a a year to land though :bang:

Holy crap, that is a long time!

You have a really cool 80 build btw, I've been following it since you first posted!
Hoping to spot you driving around some day!

Trying to figure out how 3.5" = 5+"??? LOL Making these 37's look small...
Come on, steering box upgrade. Hope to be moving back to the rears finally soon. Everything seems to take some patience anymore. Feel bad for the guys with a DD. Not sure how well that works out. Lots' of back orders going on these days.

What bumper is that please? The little I can see looks good.

Thank you! I was looking for tan, but I guess you used the Dark brown one.

Cheers,
I haven't done it. . Yet. Been looking, but too lazy to sew it.

I have the same springs sitting here in a box. I have a similar front end, but have the 1" spacer welded in to my Delta air bump holder ... So I'm, a little worried that 3.5" is going to equal 6 ... Which is going to be way taller than my shocks will handle and won't play nice with my 4" delta arms.
