Finally finished up my bi-led projector retrofit into some Depos after weeks and weeks things breaking and things not fitting. Added some rear switchback halos as to not be as gaudy as the front mounted halos. I'm really digging the look. Phenomenal output with these at nighttime. Can't thank Andrew from BxBuilt enough for a great product and great customer service!

Replaced the leather on the Audi S4 Recaro seats to match the original gray. Used a kit from LSeat, came out pretty good.

someone posted here about a half inch extender upside down on this knuckle grease fill stud and i tried it but don’t see how it actually works. found a pic but can’t find the post. dunno, maybe there are different sized square studs or something.
anyway a 14 mm 12 sided socket works the conventional way.
also, there is an aftermarket plug with a zirk fitting for these that people just leave in there? yes?

started the tear down of the front axle to install 529, zip air locker, and long field gun drilled axles. found the PO put some drilled and sloted rotors on and did not install the clips for the break pads so the pins almost fell out.

Finally replaced my springs with some stock hight OME springs. This was the easiest suspension install I think I have ever done. I also love the slight lift. I was worried the 2861 and 2862 ome spring combo would be too stiff but it feels perfect! I am also happy to report the land cruiser drives and feels soo much better. The old springs were totally worn out.

Once a year we go with the wife's trip to the desert. We don't know why we do this, but that's what we do and we are used to this calamity like we are used to yearly Locust plague.

This year because of Covied19 all hotels and Bedouin camps are closed so it was the first time in tents including warm water for showers every evening for the wife flock.

Once a year is more than enough.

I can't complain, my wife is sitting on the rocks, although her family comes from Germany she is half Beduin she is a professional tour guide (mainly evangelicals tourist from USA) and love overlanding Israel

Whomever installed these needs to read the instructions. 🙄

Caster correction RA replacing it. 😉

Gave the engine department a bit of love, changed the oil (Quaker state ultimate durability) and back to a Yota filter. The drain plug had some aluminum type gasket that someone had way over torqued and decided to bend the ends up. Replaced with the correct gasket. Had some Pennzoil filter on it which I wasn't even aware they still made oil filters. Decided to tackle to fuel filter as well with the extra space, overall not a bad job. Definitely having the notch in was a huge help. There is not a lot of space to squeeze a wrench with the wheel off even. The filter on there may have been the original I think. All new hardware went on with the new 1. While I waited for the spray paint to dry on the metal cut, finished up the last bit on that side of the oil level sensor gasket. Most of my seals on this vehicle have been in good shape when replacing, but this 1 was as brittle and rock hard as ever. Clearly the culprit of the greasy/dirty area on that side, found a tiny amount of oil in the electrical connector even. Had to use a metal pick for some parts of the old gasket since it broke off in such small pieces.

No photos but I did the 71st oil change on my 80 this morning. Getting ready for winter driving. We had snow overnight.

Today is the anniversary of me buying Molly my cruiser so i decided to treat her to some rear axle love and some new OEM rotors, calipers and stuff.

Even fitted the anti squeel stuff along with other shiney brake pad bling that i had never seen fitted before. I think she is happy now. :p

Black calipers would not be OEM. The green pads certainly are.
