What Brand of Cover did you use?I had no idea how bad the old ones were until I put the "new" ones in

Gears need to be replaced and shortly after installation I blew the big 30a fuse in the cab. Hopefully just a pinched wire during installation causing a short.
Overall big improvement!
I found out my 2” slee bump stop extenders were not cutting it for my 2” ironman lift and 37’s when stuffing a rear tire. I took a little damage to my rear driver side rear fender on the initial flex test. I had some square 1” tube laying around so I made some spacers. I don’t have a welder or welding skills, so I wasn’t able to enclose or box them. This will have to do for now. I was able to source some longer metric bolts at my local Lowe’s Hardware store. I think the bolt size was 8.125 x 100? On my follow up test it seems to be enough to make the difference and clear both my rear fenders on full flex now.

Not sure where you live but, I’m on stock gears and live at sea level. I don’t really deal with hills. It’s not that bad. I did just order gears to take advantage of the nitro gear sale otherwise I wasn’t in a rush to re-gear. I plan On hitting long roads trips Otherwise I could have chilled in stock gears for a whileNice! I've been debating 37s when i get new tires (also on a 2" lift) but don't want to regear ha. Looks good.
At sea level as well and just installed a turbo. Gearing concern was more about crawling ability. Not sure where you live but, I’m on stock gears and live at sea level. I don’t really deal with hills. These 37’” KM3’s are actually 36.5” tall according to BFG website. I haven’t actually measured my tires. I had a tiny bit of rubbing when turning into a driveway @ the back of the front wheel wells. My BFH took care if that. My BB wheel offset is 3.5” backspacing. At sea level as well and just installed a turbo. Gearing concern was more about crawling ability.
How has it been clearance wise running 37s on a 2" lift? What is your wheel size/offset? Read a bunch of threads on low lift/big tires (which i'm a fan of) but haven't seen any good definitive info on it.
Love the look of the blacked out grille! Any hints on how you did it? Surface prep, paint type? Hows it holding up? I need to do the same for my LX450.
Absolutely gorgeous! Envious of your social distancing.Into the great wide open again finally! She got demoted 5 months ago when I got my new job and is no longer my DD(130 miles RT). Luckily with social distancing I got to take the old friend out into the field cause we don’t have enough work rigs (1 per vehicle). I took the opportunity to side trip into the upper watershed; rare habitat where chinook Salmon and steelhead trout actually make it all the way to the base of Mt. Lassen. Wildflowers galore and complete solitude. Exercised the winch (maintenance), ran Lo, got muddy, and made fresh tracks on trails I’d never been before.

Tackled a few small things this week. I've been plagued for years by how to store my cross style lug wrench that I carry in the truck. These things suck because they don't sit flat and they're an awkward shape. I was working on something else the other night and noticed a few scrap brackets I had taken off of something else a while ago and a lightbulb when off. I used them to make 4 little half moon brackets. I welded some bolts to the back ones studs and use the other two with some wing nuts to hold the lug wrench. Added it to the backside of the spare tire on the carrier and now the stupid wrench has a spot that it's not causing me grief.

Now that I have a tilt slide for the fridge, I put the attic rack back in the truck too.
