Nice screen name! I have multiples of each. What is all the stuff you pulled of the cruiser?

Yeah, I have a 1911 and M1 Garand problem too (so does my son).

Rear heater delete / plug and removed the RS3000 security system mess (i dont have any key fobs and LOVE removing un-needed things).

Finished putting on the tie rod ends. Replaced the heater control valve and two hoses that attach to it, preventing further leaking there. I highly recommend people replace that heather control valve if it's the original. Mine was and was so corroded the right side inlet fell off when I released the clamp. The replacement is pretty simple.

Well I start school next Monday and will beginning my medical lab science program and I have been really stressing out about it, so.... I figured I better enjoy my last summer weekend before school. Started the day checking out the festival of flavors at brianhead and had a few beers. Then I headed east to the grand staircase national monument and hiked the lower calf creek falls trail. Now I am sitting at the pub in Escalante enjoying some more beer before I go find a camp spot for the night. Tomorrow I will be checking out the hell's backbone rd and hiking upper calf creek falls. Here are some pictures from today.

Beautiful! I can’t wait to see pics from today. Enjoy!

We did a family trailer type camp in San Simion State Park & did a scenic coastal highway 1 run up to Big Sur. My family has never been up that way, it was a beautiful drive. We did evening walks, campfires & smores all that great family stuff...

But rather be on a remote trail somewhere in the woods.

Finished what I started yesterday and now driving it around with just distilled water. The PO really did not take care of his cooling system. I’m happy with how its cleaning up but after 16 gallons of distilled water I might let someone with a coolant machine at it to get it all out. This was draining both the radiator and the block. Right to left is after each 3 gallon flush - run 15 minutes high heat idle rpm set to 2k. Bypassed the PHH and Rear heater hose while I was in there (Thanks for the products @NLXTACY & @LandCruiserPhil). Also I didn’t break the phh metal heater hose:

You can flush with tap water, just do the final fill with distilled.

Took me two long days to prep it but the Cruiser is now ready for a good road trip. I got the ARB bar for a good deal so tossed it on. I am taking off today to camp out of the Cruiser all next week.

Cheers

Got out in the woods for a bit with the family and the dogs. Rolled over 340,000 miles on my ‘95. Installed the ScanGauge II.

Replaced four seat belts and removed the fender flares in preparation for replacing all of the rubber gaskets.
The fronts were way worse off than the rear. Then I figured out why.
Discovered that the PO had the rear of the truck painted and the tools who did the job were not familiar with the two nuts behind the side panel holding the flares on. They just ripped them off and essentially glued the studs and flares back on.
Oh w

Oh well.
Are they stock flares?
Where did you get the new gaskets
Mine are falling apart

Got my Power Stop brakes (thanks @RockAuto ) and OME 3 1/2" (heavy) lift installed. Without armor or loading - definitely "stinkbug" . It seems like a lot more lift - I will measure and edit my post with actual changes. Still have a steering compensation issue. Is this the correct steering stabilizer? Shop seemed to think it was too short. But, as cool as it feels, the steering is still sloppy.

EDIT: Actual changes from factory original: FRONT: +3.5"; REAR: +4.75"

BTW - I feel like I am jumping off a cliff when I get out :)
