@NC LX Wilkesboro is my hometown. I used to work at that track selling concessions to make money for HS / college. It was a real shame when it was shut down to move the date to a larger track - the soul of NASCAR was certainly rooted in the short tracks and Wilkesboro in particular. Hope you and family had a great time!
Its ashame to see the condition. I grew up not far from Talladega and know how many people a race brings in. I was amazed at how small it was and where everyone would park at.

How Noisy do you find the yokos on the road? Consideing a set for my 80 as they're often on special at Hyper Tyres and the noise from the Maxxis Bighorns on it at the moment is driving me nuts

Hi Nikolai, they aren't too bad for noise. I see you're in Auckland, welcome to meet up with you somewhere and you can come for a drive. I used soundmat in my front footwells, gbox tunnel and front pair of doors. So that helps, if I wind down the window then I hear them more. I was worried about it, I luckly drove a friend's 100 series with these tyres so I knew they were good. I went ahead anyway.....and I'm glad it did. They're very good and I have been impressed with them on the road, gravel, river bed rocks, hard rocky tracks and now also (yesterday) 16 to 18 psi in the sand was also not bad. I had the least trouble out of a bunch of trucks all other 3 on Mickey Thompsons AT3's (and one on MT).

Hard one this week - new fuel cap from Mr Yota. Anyone know if the old cap was OE? Doesn't look like any other Toyota cap I've seen and I can't see the TEQ or any other markings on it.

Awesome, thanks. I'll let you know - need CFO approval first!

Drove 1000 miles to Moab, wheeled her, and drove 1000 miles back without missing a beat! The subtank is one of my favorite mods on long road trips. 420 miles+ on a fill up makes long drives a little more tolerable.

3rd Cruise Moab in a row and I cannot recommend it enough. Well organized, fun, and full of great people that are helpful and a delight to spend a day on the trail with. I'll be back again next year...

Looks like a blast! I missed the last two years but gotta do it next year. What trails you do?

Definitely is always a blast! I ran Elephant Hill and Top of the World this year, had to drive back on Saturday, so no trail run that day.

Elephant Hill has some fun wheeling, but it also has incredible hiking trails ( the Joint Trail) through slot canyons and caves. My wife's favorite part of the whole week.

Really, every trail I have been on in Moab has been amazing. Wish it was closer to us!

Over night trip in the sierra...still lots of spring snow pack and was very slushy

10 psi got me to dry camp but had to cut a couple of firs and ponderosa pines off the rd ;)

Degreased and painted the rear axle this weekend.

All I can say is I am glad I have a good core as you can't lie down and you can't sit up when painting the axles when its on jack stands:oops:. I also think the kerosene for degreasing destroyed a few brain cells:hillbilly:
