Maybe I will stick the sn(d)orkel on next week. Had a bit of dirt but not alot in the tuna can. But when I cleaned it earlier this year it was full of mud.

Finally finished this up, time to touch up some paint and spool up some cable until I can get a synthetic line and a new fairlead. Excuse our shop lighting, haven’t gotten around to it either, the dart board and beer seems to take up a significant amount of time at the end of the day

Got some seat heater elements and since my seat bottom is all ripped I didn't want to dismantle the seat leather and put the elements underneath. I used a yoga mat for padding, 3M adhesive spray to hold it to the leather, put the pads on, put a nice Cabela's seat cover on it, wired it up and it works awesome! Way more comfortable and heats up almost instantly.

CDAN always said that if you cleaned the dirt and mud off your truck within a week of a trip that it didn't happen!:flipoff2:

Haha just hosed it off.. doing another rinse later, my thoughts exactly!

I brought the intercooler over to a fellas place and he finished TIG'ing it together. Put the H1C back in till I figure out what's wrong with the HX35, just need a 3" elbow for the intake.

One other thing, not sure if I posted a picture but he also TIG'd on an oil fill to the top of one of the valve covers, you can see in the second pic. I want to delete the front oil fill off the timing cover and put a block off plate. The front fill blocks access and has a tendency to seep oil around it and removing it gives a bit more clearance to the fan and block. Some folks swap in a valve cover off 4BT's with the oil fill so they have more room when doing swaps

You can see the outlet side of the IC has been modified/built to snake back under the IC over to the intake on the motor, I sized the IC basically to fit the subaru scoop (it's a pinch bigger) and to get reasonable air flow for the bigger donk. It was a bit of a pain to line it up and make it work but it sits in there nicely now.

At my wife's suggestion (!!!) we packed up the Cruiser with huskies and skis, and headed up to the San Juans and then Grand Mesa for some cold-ass camping, but terrific skiing. Thank goodness for good gear, better whiskey and trailhead parking lot bacon cookouts.

Not quite as exciting as @thegogglesdonothing , but spent the day driving in Virginia Mts to get a better pair of front seats for the 80... I am pleased.
