Several friends were running 100 miles through/around town over the weekend. Me and a few others supported them every few miles, mostly refueling them and tending to their needs before they'd head out for the next section. The Land Cruiser got a workout being unloaded and reloaded with gear and supplies 15 times in 24 hours. It was great.
They were in a race of some sort?
Less formal than that. No numbers, results, or competition. Just 7 friends running 100 miles at vaguely the same pace.
Got some professional help on getting the suspension sorted out. Found my driveline noise. Grabbed up a used shaft from a local member.

It's sad to see all the trash left out in the desert. I live on the utah/arizona border and we have the exact same problem on both sides. There are piles of trash everywhere getting shot up. But, I don't think the problem is to blame the shooting community. At least in my area 90 percent of the trash on public land was dumped there by people without legal identification that can't legally use the landfill. Also there are loads of landscaping trash dumped with all the other trash. It is a problem of lazy low life contractors and landscapers dumping trash on public land instead of paying to use a landfill. Then the shooters take advantage of the trash and use it as targets. Just my .02 cents
We see some dumped trash, but overall its a small percentage and most likely home owner. The dump is on the way to these sites, so much closer. As far as shooting it goes, the rule is, you shoot it, you own it. You brought it or not, if you shoot it and leave it, you get a littering ticket.
