I am running these on my rack to light up the sides of the truck. They are 11" and have spot/flood combo. Looks like they would fit in that space. I've had them a year and there's no moisture inside.

did you go up 3N16 to big bear? My white 91 was also bone stock when i bought it and we called it the "marshmallow", but since i have been slowly transforming it with armor, lift and tires, we no longer call it that anymore. I also owned a 72 bmw 2002, a 73 Mazda RX-3, and the cruiser is my 1st off roading rig also. Big bear is alot of fun, we also did Gold Mountain and Oxyx summit also..

No we took 2N02. Didn't get to explore too much up there this time, but I plan on going back up in the near future. I absolutely love it up there. Easy drive, and great place for the chocolate lab to burn off some energy swimming.

What's the best place to get a trail map for up there? I've seen the basic one that comes up with a Google search. The discovery center didn't have too much to offer. Hoping to find a good map to aid in exploring.

I love the BMW. I've put a lot of time into it. It's an early numbers matching tii that I got for a good price off eBay before values started climbing. I'm in the middle of an engine rebuild right now. Funnily enough - my dad had an RX-7 as well. Not sure what year though.

Shipped it off to it's new owner...until we meet again 80 section

That looks really good. Mind sharing what it cost you?

About 650 with shipping and local taxes...... not cheap, but they've always done great work. They also did some custom Carbon Fiber parts for my C63 ....

Installed cup holder and dash bezel /phone holder. Thanks @bhicks for the follow up and fast delivery. Color match is right on. Also got a $175 wash/wax/detailing. Cup and phone holders because we're setting out on an almost 2 week trip to the hill country and then N. Arkansas. Wash/wax/detail because I have to somehow make it suddenly cloud up and rain as I'm pulling out of the %@$&#(% shop!

You need to pick a nice warm day and peel out all the old wood grain plastic. One of the best things I've ever done with mine to clean it up. I have never liked wood grain in any vehicle, so it would have had to come out even if it didn't look what yours does.

With a plastic scraper and a hot day, it peels off pretty clean. What doesn't come off then can be wiped clean with your finger as an adhesive remover. I would be reluctant to use an actual adhesive remover on the underlying plastic, as it is 22 years old.

installed new window runs for the rear doors, pulled apart the hvac blower cleaned it out, a dunkin donuts napkin from 1991 was blocking my flow, happy that's done. Also took the hunk of rust that use to be a spare tire lift out, only broke 2 of the 4 bolts! Progress gentlemen, progress. Oh, also fixed the dim brake dash light issue that was preventing cruise control from working - thanks to mud members it was painless, cleaned the switch on the brake fluid fill cap.

Im at the Ribeye restaurant in Chehalis on i5 in Washington. Seen about half a dozen 80s between eugene and here. Mostly mild, but a nice lifted black one on 35s passed me in Portland. Looked like his rear flair on the p/s was missing.

I like it. One of my long term goals is to pull it, strip it, refinish it and put it back in. Some of the work is being done for me as time goes by. Meanwhile keeping it where it is keeps it from getting lost bent up, etc. .

There is actually someone on here that has a replacement version.

I don't care for it so I kind of ignored the post.

There's a lot of them up here. I just drove the 5 corridor Sea-SF and saw 5-6 in a day almost all north of the CA border. Mostly stock though.

Changed rear brake pads, EBC.

Yanked bumpers and louvers, drug them to the powdercoater for semi gloss black.

Got new factory plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Surprisingly easy.

Worked on a battery box that fit my desires. Stock box was damaged when i got it, i like that it seals off the engine heat, but at the same time doesn’t hold the battery very well.

This is a ruffstuff box, bolts into a bunch of stock holes, should work for me.

Flame away:

I was happy to find that some Rigid flushmount backup lights fit perfectly into my Bowfin rack in the lower slots..... used alum 3/4" stock to create backing plates ( need to paint or PC them down the road...)
