Finished my “reupholstering” job on the passenger side. Props to @milemarker60 for the idea.

And a special thanks to the douche bag in Miami who totaled his A4 last year  - providing the panther with new seating. Zee german was also courteous enough to donate its armrest skin, which somewhow stretched to fit. Now to tackle the driver side....

More info about the donor car and customization to fit those in there please.

^^^ Do you have a thread write-up about those seats and install. I like those.

Not enough pics to post a proper build thread.

This was the original link I got the idea from:

what seats can I put in my Landcruiser

My factory seats needed new leather, foam and had movement issues so I found a set of 2014 tan A4 seats (non sport) at salvage shop locally via car-parts.com Got some bracket feet from a fellow Mudder. Cut some 3”x1/4” steel stock and welded on the feet vice using hardware (personal choice). Then just wired up the oem motor to Audi motor and tapped into the door light on the passenger kick panel for the under seat light. This setup clears the seat heaters if you want to keep them, but you do need a little BFH action on the tunnel bracket on the forward inboard mounts (nothing critical). Sits a little higher and the outboard Audi seat track sticks out forward pretty far, but the seat is WAY more comfortable/supportive than OEM, IMO.

At some point I can wire up the seat heaters, but I’ll worry about that when Uncle Sam puts me somewhere that isn’t so :censor: hot.

Here are the armrest and covers. Removed the Toyota (about 16 staples) and the Audi (about 1600) put it in the sun and stretched the crap out of it and re-stapled to a spare armrest.

Very nice, thanks for the info!

Was planning on replacing the third row window seals on my son’s 92. But instead we went fishing. Went to a buddy’s farm. He purchased it about four years ago. Has a pond that is “only accessible by cow or tractor”. Perfect. I happened to drive a tractor every day. He has never fished it.

When we got out there we found a small flat bottom boat that had been sitting there for a while so we flipped it over and took it out in the water. It leaked a little bit and had mice living under the metal seats but it worked well.

Caught a bunch of 4-5 pounders.

The cows were stalking us the whole morning.

For the record. We told him the fishing sucked.

Installed a set of planar o2 sensors where the PAIR system used to be. Runs much better than what I assume are original sensors on a 94 fzj80 with 222k miles

Replace the left front caliper, and rotated the tires.

Pretty sure you both missed the point ;) He doesn't have mirrors either, but I still think there isn't a damn thing wrong in those pics.

Wait, was there a Landcruiser in that post?

Did you bring your Flex Tape or Flex Seal spray can with you to seal the boat?

Picked-up a new ride for the wife this weekend from the good people at North Portland Bike Works. Went in thinking one thing, left paying nearly double. We’ll get her the Brooks saddle after the other accessories arrive and are installed.

Should tie her over until we can swing to the east and each pick-up some Azor OMA Luxury builds--which are pretty rare in the United States but yet AZOR is one of the most acclaimed bicycle builders in the world.

I read the threads, I am pretty sure the bikes will be hanging off a NorthShore NSR-4 rack.

I finally got a spare tire carrier rear bumper! I just need to figure out how to keep the side with the tire from bouncing so much. I'm going to try to tap a few bolts through the frame to tie it down a bit better.

I think we were both being smart asses..

We didn’t know there was going to be a boat there. We took the canoe with us but then stumbled upon the boat. So we thought we’d test it to see. We are going to go down next weekend. We will bring some Flex Seal tape and repair it.

what did you use to do the roof - Monstaliner ? it looks clean

Coney Flats with my wife, some buddies and the TurboTundra. Heavy jeep traffic on the trail up to the water crossing. Took them about 45 minutes to make it past one tough spot. Of course the 80 bounced right through and the (unlocked) tundra also made it through first try (with lots of wheel spin and flying rocks). :hillbilly: As usual, I didn't get squat for pictures :o

white's very forgiving.
I tried my hand at spraying for the first time. It's summit racing "gloss pure white" SS applied directly over their epoxy primer, no wetsanding... good 'nuff for my impeccable standards!
