I passed the break-in period while on a three-day camp/ride trip in N. Georgia.

Got her back from Cruiser Corps with a clean bill of health, replacement bumper on (still needs paint). Starting to look like something
I'm loving the no flare look more and more every day.

1st Annual(?) Crazie Eights Summer Camp/Ride. The plan was to start at an easternmost point on the Georgia Traverse and go as far west as we could in three days. That plan went out the window about 30 minutes into the ride when we came to a huge tree across the forest service road. After nearly two straight weeks of rain in the area, that was just the first of several downed trees that we encountered during the weekend (no, we didn't had a chainsaw). However, we did ride several sections of the Traverse, and mostly in an east to west direction.

Are you bringing your LC? As soon as you know when you're coming, let me know. I can at least give you some trail info, if not ride with you.

Post in the Upstate Cruisers clubhouse if you ever want company. How far did you make it? A chainsaw is a must for that route

I need to get out more... how do I find out about these trips? I'm in Lilburn...

Where'd you get the window felts? I need to replace mine.

Conecelli Toyota is where I got mine but the item prices were overall slightly higher than others but shipping ended up being significantly cheaper for all the stuff I bought. Part number 68170-60030 x2

Uh, um, ahem.

Question #1: How fast are you driving in gravel?

someone has to tell you it's not good, not good. This is like putting on a jock strap on over your pants, or a bra on over your shirt (I want to be politically sensitive).

Zona

I don't drive fast over gravel, just don't see much mud. I don't think the flaps are going to help inside the rig. Not following your analogy.

Just watch out backing into curbs or rocks and stuff. They will get pinched and torn off. I have done that a ton of times on my 18 wheelers lol.

Speaking of 18 wheelers! I am out having a rolling pool party! Without the party... just the pools..

Will do; I/we like company!

How far did you make it?

I don't know exactly. Mudder Musthave can probably tell you down to the 1/10 of a mile. He has one of those fancy tracking/mapping apps. I'm the old-school guy who mostly uses paper maps. We only went a little west of Blairsville, and that wasn't on the Traverse all of the time.

A chainsaw is a must for that route

Yeah, it really is.

^^^this^^^^ after the bull**** and chaos they caused, they can die in a fire. They have done more damage to forums than facebook. Errr, close to it. This forum has “THE” only way a forum should be set up. I love it.
You should use Google Photos. Unlimited storage, tons of features, platform agnostic and the search AI is amazing..etc. etc.

I bought my first Cruiser!! It needs some work, but will make a fun rig on the street and trails. I've got big plans for this one that includes a 12V Cummins and 40s. It'll be a little while to get it up and running, but should be a fun project to work on. My 4runner is going to be on the backburner for a little while.

That is a huge load!

I am concerned about tearing them off, especially since they are so low. The silicone sheets are not terribly expensive, so we will see how it goes.
