Perhaps you quoted the wrong post, it was @goranvolvo questioning the LCP fan, I was questioning my eletrical ability :p

No worries Just letting you and anyone else know they have options with LCP:)

i do not have much pictures , but it is straight forward get the fan and look for best way to fit it in if someone cant figure it out probably have someone to do it for you
it took me a lot of measuring and looking for right fan and relay so biggest problem is solved
so get condenser fan for Suzuki vitara and cooling fan relay from Volvo ,Volvo relay is easiest relay to wire all you need two wires to make it click (google)

We dont use or NEED relays with our set up, just another item to fail and our goal is to keep it simple so the electrically challenged can wire it and understand the wiring. Where do you relocate the horns to?

Will be updating installation notes later today:)

Finally sitting on her own weight after several months and countless hours. Funny thing is after being cooped up in the garage every weekend, I'm not even itching to go rock crawling. I just wanna drive on boring dirt roads and go camping

Now you are officially an 80 owner. Overbuilt rig that’s used on roads a Camry could drive on!

Busy weekend

- Changed out transfer case oil
- Changed out front and rear diff oil
- New front and rear EBC pads
- New front and rear OEM rotors
- Repacked wheel bearings, had to replace one bearing/race that looked like crap

And then..........put everything together to have 1 seized piston on passenger side caliper . So now I'm waiting until Wednesday to get the new calipers and replace both front ones, at least they're under warranty. After that I will flush all the brake fluid and I guess have a basically brand new brake system.

I like it. Mo' bigger, mo' betta. But what do you use the relay for?

just to be safe so i dont burn my switch and wiring that relay uses ground for off-on function so there is no load on switch , you should use relay for almost all add-ons
here is diagram you can use temperature switch to turn that rely on (temperature switch from old bmw, mercedes, volvo ,audi and others ) or you can wire it to switch inside cab or a/c pressure switch option r almost endless

You seriously run the current of a radiator fan through a dash switch??? Sounds like a really terrible idea IMO.

Really LOL
Switch is rated at 21 amps by Toyota the fan FLA is 7 amps fused at 10 amp where do you see the problem?

Yeah I don’t care how much that switch is rated for, I would never run that kind of amperage through my dash board. Needless to say, I’m very cautious about my electrical.

Really:) Toyota runs more amperage through the exact same switch than we do.;)

Electrical safety is extremely important to me as my livelihood and reputation has depended on it for the last 40 years. What I offer is extremely safe, simple, and more reliable than any similar circuit using a relay.

Original muffler finally gave up the ghost, just before my vacation. Got a camping trip later this week, so gotta fix it. Since I wasn't expecting to do this repair I do not have time to get an direct fit muffler, and I've been wanting to get the exhaust above the frame for some time now.

I had replaced the Y pipe and cats with Magnaflows part a couple years back. I decided to delete the second cat, since I only need to pass a sniffer test. I cut the flange off of the cat and muffler to reuse. Going to reuse the tail pipe for now.

Out with the old:

In with the new. The mandrel pipes are 304 SS, the only SS I could get here in short notice. Muffler is for a '98 Dodge Durango. Why? Cause I had it stored in the barn, and it is SS. It is a long of a muffler as one will be able fit in one of these. Got to make up a hanger at the back of the muffler, which I will do Wed morning before leaving for our camping trip.
