Well, it was 98 degrees yesterday and 96 today. I was sitting at a stop light and saw the Koso reading 205 degrees, the highest I've ever seen it read. I started driving, got on the interstate and it dropped down to 190. Got home. Popped the hood and let her cool off for a while. Just went out to check coolant level and the overflow is empty. FAWK. I haven't noticed any leaks underneath but admittedly I haven't been looking. Will try to find time to properly test tomorrow but it doesn't look good...
this is what i installed in my LC and this fan moves the air ,this is what you want for hot areas i have LS 5.3 engine and with that fan on and engine idling it will drop the temperature down fastThe fan is from a LC 100 series and quite a few folks have them in love them here, where it gets kind of hot in the summer![]()

That was my favorite rig at the expo. One of many excellent builds by Maltec and a joy to drive featuring a custom tuned suspension by Reiger suspensions.

Had great day out in the sierras/Taho national forest, a little bit more adventure/hardcore off-roading than I expected...
I just wanted To take the old girl out to test the 2.5 king’s shock I recently installed. It was amazing weather so I took my son, buddy of mine and his 2kids along for a cruise in the sierras to have a picnic with some good views. @jcardona1 recomended signal peak trail, he said it’s a good easy/medium difficulty trail. Got to the trail head which shares the same staging area as Fordyce which made me feel like I brought cap gun to a cannon fight, good thing I’m not doing Fordyce. Trail started out a little steep and bumpy but nothing too hard......until one steep section that normally would need just a look but due to the rain 2days before it was a slippery mess and super tight on top of that. So I had to bust out my winch for the very first time for myself!!!

Got up with little drama with my shiiteebuit 12k and I was all giggles. Kept going and hit another spot, this one was just a soupy mess! After a couple of tries I was in 2feet of goo! So busted out the winch second time ever less than 100yards from the first time!

Had to winch twice to make it up that hill but feeling good about how well the winch worked and the fact I have one.
Finally made it to signal peak and the view was spectacular!!!
