Took a picture of it in the driveway after washing it. I am itching to get it out on some trips and start some projects this summer

I’m back in an 80! My 93 was making some funky grinding noise. Of course I pull the front drive shaft and it’s still there. I run out of time last weekend so I drop it to my buddy at his shop. Told him not to rush. Called me this morning and said “got any U joints laying around”. I told him I did. Swung by the house and grabbed them. The rear most U joint spider was toasted. Bone dry. It was less than a year old. 20k miles on it. But that happens when you don’t grease it. The front one was good. Had grease in it. Anyway, I called the dealership where I get my oil changes done cheap. Voiced my displeasure. Pointed out that it had just been in, that I had to rent a car for three days, and so on. Applied a credit to my account for $250. I didn’t even ask.

She drives nice and quietish now.

And yes, I accept responsibility for not greasing my U joints. Laziness on my part and assuming they were doing it.

i just did it UP down looked like to much damage since you posted this i had to do it. i have a tad more lift.
Lol just a tad more. Did you take a similar line to me?

After much debating, I finally caved in and got a double din radio. I removed my CB for now and will install on the center console later. I also got a pioneer backup cam to wire in but still have to decide where I want to stick it. Wired in the little Mic for the hands free too. I don't know if I will leave it there or move it, so I left it some slack. Added a blue sea usb thingymadoohickey too. And finally installed my condenser. Next I will get all new O-Rings and a couple of missing pieces and she might be good to go for summer.

How did you mount the new/old pulley? Just shoot it on with an impact? Is that the underwrite pulley?
yes and it seems to be its smaller than original photoman sent it with bracket.

Great, thanks! I have a bracket, searching for an alternator, don't have the small pulley yet...
