There is enough sheet metal at the bottom to bolt it to with 6mm bolts.
I ran the 4 gauge wire into the cab and down the bottom of the passenger doors.

That rack is by ARB: Full-length, 49W x 87L, mesh floor, all-aluminum (except for attachment hardware). Bought it about 8 years ago. Super stout...perfect for canoe hauling, and makes a perfect open-air sleeping platform for two. Was not cheap, but managed to do OK price-wise by packaging it with sliders, front bumper, and winch. A moment of fiscal irresponsibility that I do not regret.

Installed the Blackhawk (4xOverlandUSA/Slinky) rear control arms yesterday. HD lowers that are 11mm longer than stock. HD adjustable Uppers with double jam nuts. Factory rubber bushings in all the ends.
Very exciting weekend for Toyota land cruiser enthusiasts, it all started as a competition on Facebook. Toyota Israel published an ad calling LC owners to publish a pic of there LC and the winner will get tickets to an event in the desert of unveiling the new LC model 2018 and many prizes
Surprisingly, I won and received an invitation for my wife and me I had to sign many wavers that allow them using any pictures for their publicity and waver from damage on the trail.
The event took place in a magical oasis in Judea desert. In the middle of nowhere.
The program
Day 0ne
1. Arrival and distributed to 12 groups of LC according the trail that was chosen (12 Trails from easy for stock LC's to "hard" for trail ready LC's) each group will get a professional off-road instructor and will be led by new 2018 LC.
2. Bedouin reception and registration, receiving of new Toyota embroidered sleeping bag towels (gifts) and a place to sleep in a communal bedouin tent.
3. Bedouin dinner with oriental meat, rice, vegetables free bear etc.
4. Unveiling ceremony of the new model 2018, music, free Arab water pipes Hoka dry fruits and nuts and more free beer and liquor.
Day 2
1. Bedouin breakfast
2. Trail in the desert

Coffee, tea and Sachlab (oriental hot drink with cinnamon, raisins and coconut) and fresh fruits

ASFIR developed an off-road kit for the new LC 2018 model, including skid plate 2" lift and 2 styles of front bumpers. I found out that they have skid plates for LC80 and I ordered them with special discounts on the spot.
The ASFIR kit can be ordered at the Dealership and you get your new LC from dealership already installed and with full warranty.

That looks like the latch I have on my Trail Tailor dual swing out. Works well!

I went ice fishing. I guess you can call it that. It was more like “drilling holes in ice and sitting around doing nothing”. No fish. None showing up in the Vexilar. It sucked. But I got to hang out with my son. So it was awesome!
Didn’t take any pictures while we were fishing. So snapped one as we were leaving.
Also, lubed the spindles on the dual swing out and started sketching out my new drawer system I’m going to build some day...
Oh, and filled up a stranded snow machine with gas. His gas gauge wasn’t working and didn’t realize it.

I use the same Destaco latch on mine. It’s a 2000lb capacity

Decided to replace my rear rocker panel corners before the minor rust progressed out of control. The inner rocker area looked fine. A little more sanding and I'll topcoat it. I'll do the drivers side some other weekend.
