I'm another happy customer of Safety Restore. Once they got the old belt, it was 5 hr turn around. I had a spare belt I bought that is now for sale as a temp belt while yours is out (mine took 11 days to get to safety restore via UPS).

Original belt one left, new on right

Which option are you using? New belt/rebuild tensioner?

Drove to the Original McDonalds. Everytime I hang out with my dad he wants Micky Ds. Gotta make him happy...

It's not the original McD's.
It is the oldest one in operation.

Major tourist attraction. Lots of buses show up and people take picture of it from every frickin angle.
Even Jay Leno taped some footage here for his car show last year.
Noting special about it, ugly as hell, but people are people and can't help themselves.

Oh yeah, I've lived next to it for the past 14 years and never ate there.

Oh yeah I just looked in to it, this is the second or third one.

Im still here lol. Just chatting with my old man.

Even though it's McDonald's food, enjoy the time with your Dad! That's by far the most important!

Simple. Dilution is the solution to pollution. In other words: Wash a lot, frequently. For years I would lay underneath my 92 in fisherman's rain gear with goggles on and pressure wash (lightly) underneath. I would use warm, not hot, water. The past two years I've used two oscillating sprinklers that I "t"d together. They sit about about 4' apart from each other. I set them under my 80 and I turn on the sprinklers and let them spray back and forth for about 15 minutes. I start with one sprinkler at the front bumper and the other the 4' back. Then I move them 15 minutes later and let it go for another 15 minutes. 30 minutes total.

I like that approach! Much better than a similar version I was dreaming up.

Are you an undercarriage oiler as well? I’ve heard people using chainsaw bar oil (maybe diluted?) and an old spray gun.

I never have. This year I will probably go the Fluid Film route. Using bar oil seems really bad on the environment. I don't know. Maybe I'm overthinking things when I have 3 80s that, combined, get worse gas mileage than my Camry Hybrid...

I've never needed to oil the undercarriage as my 92 leaks and coats the undercarriage very well!

Drove 1800 miles and was the slowest thing on the interstate....but the Cruiser made it just fine. Even with me doing some 4k rpm's up a few passes.
Introduced the truck to it's new abode. Finally got a shop to work on it in.

This truck is finally coming together... finished the Prinsu finally. Had to order some additional hardware. I've come to the realization that buying a fully built truck is underrated. Between the WK Sliders a few weeks ago and now the rack, this is a lot of work and nothing is easy...:wrench:
