Are you going to wash your carpet? I think you will be surprised at how well it cleans up.

I did it's just not in the pics it was disgusting I used our carpet cleaner and the dirty tank water was literally black in the rear the you could smell the years of spilled oil and fuel coming out.

Purchased (thanks @84shortyota !) and installed some lightly used Level 8 wheels in bronze wrapped in Maxxis Trepador radials. Achieved a *slightly* larger and more aggressive truck in the process ;). Currently trying my luck with stock suspension (but with plans to rectify hopefully sometime soon).

RIP

Saw this one for sale locally. Thought maybe the dealer didn't know what they were talking about when they said it was "locked up". Unfortunately, they did. The PO puked oil on the highway and kept driving it until it locked up.

She lived a very hard life before that too. Literally, only a couple of pieces of value on the truck. The factory non running board mud flaps and the switches. Everything else is trashed. Everything.

Bummer. It still amazes me how poorly people treat their stuff.

So that is what it takes to file under "Done" Do Not Resuscitate? Looks be shot. 27 years is nothing to sneeze at though. Imagine how long it might have lasted if they took good care of it?

I hope this happens with one of my kids someday.

You must be proud! I know I'd be bragging to anyone and everyone. It's nice seeing kids that were raised right still exist!

I'm always looking for reasonably priced med kit bags. I refuse to get the prestocked ones as they are over priced. Where did you get yours?

I live next to Camp Lejuene and we have probably 10-15 "tactical" stores that sell all kinds of this stuff! The best quality and priced ones I have found are at Saigon Sams. I believe you can order from them online at saigonsams.com. Good luck!

I will check them out. Thanks!

Got the driver's power window working. Following items replaced: Switch panel (aftermarket), regulator (Dorman), and motor (Dorman) and window run (Toyota OEM). The Dorman motor's connectors don't work out of the box (blade orientation is wrong), but I using my terminal pick set and the old motor's connector, I got that rectified in about 5 minutes.

Regulator and motor grease were pretty crusty. I lubed the tracks of the new regulator with Shin Etsu silicone grease. The new aftermarket regulator is somewhat simplified and doesn't include the welded on glass support tab, so I swapped the top section of the old regulator onto the new one. The spring in the new one is MUCH stronger than the 23 year old Toyota spring.

Window runs went in reasonably well but attention to detail is required. A paint stirrer stick is a perfect tool for getting the runs smoothly seated in the metal channels.

Window goes up and down smoothly....but intermittently. When it works, it works well. Or it won't work at all but cycling the key all the way off, then on usually brings it back to life. I suspect the Auto-down relay may be the issue as the other three windows continue to work well (albeit much slower due to old runs and motors). I need to dig up a wiring diagram of the '94 power window system.

A puzzle. But after a few hours in the sun, I was ready to call it a day.

I also realized that my 95+ passenger grab handle probably won't fit my '94....

Long overdue.

Installed these. Roller drawer with roller floor on both sides. Don't delay, they are great!
