Thanks, appreciate it! So far the 3link work is holding up and I haven't killed myself or a bus full of nuns. I agree about the 20 amp circuit, works great. I replaced the 15 amp breaker with a 20 amp at the new place. My old place had a 15 amp breaker and it seemed like it could never keep up, would trip the breaker often too.

Page 6 of the 2013 Smog Check Manual (link here) shows what's required for each year. 1976-1995 are the years for which a functional check of the timing is required. It used to be that if a vehicle had adjustable timing or a specification on the underhood label, it had to be checked. Most techs probably default to that, so it might not hurt to bring a copy of that page out of the manual they're supposed to be following.

Yeah, that while exhaust needs to be fully redone one day when I'm not so burned out. I guess the Japanese guy who had the truck before me figured rumbling a bunch was more important than carrying a spare tire.

My whole truck is built with a Lincoln 135 and Flux core, including the cage project I'm doing right now. If you take your time, prep well, you will have no issues

I learned that the snorkel can actually serve as a damage multiplier when leaned into a tree. Without it, I likely wouldn't have touched the tree. With it, the mounting studs from the snorkel appear to have deformed the fender.
That 60 sure is nice!!
