Fabricator (son in law) just dropped off new stainless steel running boards. Look good and will have a "C" channel or angle iron welded in the center under the step tread for strength, like the OEM running boards. Missy wants them painted black.
I've never had any issues and I still have the paper clip, but I think anything you can do to keep your fluids cool is inherently good. The Derale coooler @NLXTACY used seems like a good upgrade to accomplish this.
Kids added tuna to the tuna can. And no, it is not dolphin safe.
For you guys that haven't seen the difference is between a 442 (1993-1994) and a 343 (1995-1997). Three of us lifted the 343 into the back of a (lifted) pickup bed. Might have been tough with the 442 ?
Finished up on my dual batteries, installed my winch. Every terminal on the install was crimped and soldered the dielectric grease applied. The positive and negative cables for the winch are too long so I will shorten them.
Installed the 2.5 OME kit. Man she feels way better. I can't wait to get her on the trails ND do some further testing.

Local mudder came over today to assess his truck and see why it drove so squirrelly. Turns out the lift on the truck didn't have the panhards adjusted. This forced the front axle to the passenger side and the rear axle to the driver's side. He was also missing some bumpstops. But his biggest issue, and why it drove so harshly, was the driver's side wheel bearing was badly in need of pre-load. It was a wobbly mess. Luckily I had some spares to also replace his flange stud and hardware.
I was also able to berate him enough to remove his damage multiplier and strip out his aux light wiring so that it could be redone. Then ended with a smoke break

Finally, fitted my OME 2861 / 2 coils and new Tokico shocks. A mechanic friend let me use a lift and his air tools 
..but I did the work myself, six hours start to finish. It's got +15mm spacers on the back and 20mm on the front, so there's just over an inch of "real" lift over stock, but approaching 2" over where she was before. but the difference to drive is huge, she no longer feels old and tired with a saggy arse, carrying the extra weight.

When I press in my new bushings into my narrowed arms I will make the holes go horizontal.
I remember they changed the orientation around 94 or 95 I believe for better durability. Correct?
