I spent the evening driving around, pulling three people out of ditches, jump starting a couple, and helped out a girl that ran out of gas.

Then drove to the Lowe's I work at and used my blower to blow the snow off of all of the employees cars before they got off work so they didn't have to.

And mocked this punk a$$ Heep as I passed him. He was afraid of a little snow.

No pictures outside my 80 because it's -21 with windchill. AKA "Cold as fawk!"

That's still shorts and flip flop weather here........ HA! We've seen -44F windchill already and the worst of winter hasn't gotten here yet.

Road trip - covering 6 states in 2 weeks - California, nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming - might get to ski a little on the way ;-)

Didn't realize @NLXTACY had got into brewing!

We got down to -41 windchill Sunday night. That was pretty darn cold. The 92&93 started right up Monday morning.

YEP! coldest I've ever experienced here was -53F and it was terrible. Lots of coffee and Baileys!!

On another note, more control arm ends finished today. Thanks to all that have ordered.

UltraGauge EM can only display what Toyota gives access to. Looking at the list 75% is not available on a 80 series. The MX unit claims the ability to show trans temp but I have yet to see anyone with a 80 series or late model 100 series get trans temp out of an ultragauge. I get trans temp from all my 100 series from 1999 - 2006 using an ScanGauge.

You can also calibrate a ScanGauge to display accurate MPH something an Ultragauge can not do. Correct me if wrong but if your UltraGauge is not showing correct speed than your MPG, DTE, MPG, Avg MPH and other MPH related info is not accurate either.:meh:

Like most stuff they all have some positive and some negative feature. Im happy with both given me what I want is both the 80 and 100 series.

Yes, the Ultra gauge can be calibrated for correct MPH. it must be the version set up for it released in 2012 I think. It's a bit of a process to calibrate but it can be done on the one I have. I just haven't taken time to do it.

Ouch. Last pic looks like you have the pocahontas thing going on.
No Pocahontas impression going on, just a bandage holding everything together. In case the PC police are offended by it, my native roots should appease any concerns you may have.

Went to look for this small lake to camp but wasnt able to get to due to road closure and settled on this boring dirt road.

Went to a Toyota event over the weekend and got 6 staples in my head....maybe a little backstory is needed.
The 80 was looking fabulous in the driveway all weekend, albeit a bit neglected from all the work going on with the 60 and being banished to the driveway for said 60 work in the garage.

So decided to go support team Toyota Hawaii at a winter holiday event downtown. Started out great! All smiles in the top two photos....then going from bad to worse as I got on ice skates and the back of my head tried to see how hard ice really is! Rushed to the ER and got 6 shiney staples in my head.
**Warning! if you are squeamish, look away from the disgusting bottom middle photo of my skull.

Further proof that this island girl was not meant for the snow/ice!

So, the next time you try ice skating, a helmet might be in order?

Looking through the 55 page PDF manual I could not find the info.

If memory serves you have to go in and add a speed gauge, the compare the UG speed to a GPS, divide the two out and then go back in te vehicle setup and adjust the distance calc.

I did this on my D1 and the UG was dead on afterwards. If this is what you are wanting I'll go into the Rover forum and track down the step by step.

After a month of sitting on my driveway, I finally drove her and went to visit my uncle's barn... and his kids were there as well!

Then we drove to a nearby junkyard, hoping to find a hood strut, to my surprise I saw a '93 sitting with no tires... then $500 later we brought her home.

There was milkshake in her...

Over all she was clean. But the st*pid guy at the yard put a 15" wheels upfront and T100 wheels at the back. The calipers upfront were grinding...

Then on the way home this happened... not the "D" light.... i'm catching up with some of you folks... I may have hit 200k at some point already for having been on 35's / 4.88's with an uncalibrated tacho...

The engine oil pressure is too impressive for the fully warmed up engine.

You haven't lived until you have had staples in your head. I have managed that feat a few times. Now I am old and bald and my head looks like a roadmap. Glad you are OK, head injuries are no joke! Island girls should stick to the water!
