Got two of these in the mail today. They will be installed in the rear bumper for back up lights.

They were cheap. $18.99...

I bought these same lights in an Amazon lightning deal. I want to put them on the front bumper but I am not sure yet. If you end up doing it, let me know how they turn out.

I went to install them in the rear bumper today and decided against it. Just didn't like where they were going to go. Didn't want to cut the rear cross member to put them where they should go. Putting them in the wings put them too far out, IMHO. Not sure they send the right kind of light for the front since they are flood lights and not spots. I will probably ship them back to Amazon or throw them on the shelf and save them for when I finally get a rear bumper built.

Tagging @JaketheSSnake since he wanted to know how they turned out as well.

Thanks a lot for the quick feedback.

Before:
2" Ironman with 1.x" spacers up front. 37" BFGs

After:
Upgraded(?) to Trailworthyfab double beadlocked re-centered H1s. 3.5" BS 37" 75% tread BAJA ATs
I have a thing about never washing my rigs but I didn't wanna post up the pics for your guys with tons of dog poo on the tire, hence the water

Did some quick flexing in my wife's old garden area

Soooo not much flexing like this. Some rubbing on turns at the wheel well/slider. That part will be easy to fix. The rear though . . . . I don't wanna lift more but I'm hoping that upgradeing to heavy springs in the rear plus a spacer and only a little wheel well enlarging will take care of it. My old set up tucked just perfectly with not even a hair to spare. I really like that. Now that I have fixed the problem I didn't have It's time to spend more money and a lot more time! Woot!

Finally got a good main battery….Class 65.
A bit tight, specially with my winch & national Luna controller….but it's in nice and snug and I'm very happy with it.
Will have to fab a new tie-down down bracket

More info on that dual battery setup and mounting over there on the passenger side please.

We know what all the 80 guys in LA are doing... How the hell do people live with this?!?!

Did it for a while, it definitely does not feel like living....

How is your grass so green in CA? You hording your neighbor's water? Driving on the septic leach field?

Got the roof top tent loaded up on Wednesday night, tested it out and now im heading up into the hills for second thanksgiving tomorrow with some of the usual rowdy bunch.

Phh...my first time. Glad that's over. When I got it all done and went to start the truck..."click". At least the tire was still off right? Pulled the starter and figured I'd try to just replace the contacts. 20$ later I'm back in business. Starts like a champ for 1 day lol. Stranded my lady and I and it was AAA to the rescue. Towed her home and pulled the starter again. Couldn't find anything obviously wrong with it other than it wasn't a denso. Ordered a 2.0kw denso from fj parts. Took a week but she's running like a champ. Gonna head from Oregon to AZ next week so did the belts, brakes, and PS pump. Also stuck a set of 285's under her... Kelly Safari tsr. That was the last couple weekends I suppose. 97 fzj 80.

Sourgrass?

:hmm:
