Finished one side and started on the other.

Also filled the knuckles as they are leaking. Finally replaced the knuckle plugs on both sides. One was butchered up bad. I had them sitting around and figured now was the time. I pounded a 13mm socket on to it and backed it out.

And used my patented ziploc method to fill the knuckles.

I NEED to do the knuckle job!!

I'm going to need a writeup of this....haha

I spent my first two days in Harrisburg making my way around to all of the places I will likely be going and pre-programming NAV until I know my way around. Initial thoughts are: the 80 gets a lot of love and looks from people, makes its way around the city pretty nicely, but needs re-geared to climb the hills on the interstates around here. I had my foot to the floor and getting above 52 mph was a challenge on an incline I will be driving daily on I-83. So within the next 30 days getting re-geared (hi and low), new birfs and knuckle re-build in the front. Then I am going to wire wheel the under-carriage, rust prevention coat it, and spray it black. Also, our 80s aren't built for the "garages" the city has to offer. I have to jerry rig the garage to make sure its pushed all the way flat in order to get my truck in and out. But the garage is heaven sent when comparing my Tampa weather to PA weather.

Gave it a bath today.

My son helped me work on my 93 yesterday. Put the front shocks and springs in. So this morning we got up early and went fishing. Caught NOTHING! It was bizarre. Took the 92 and stretched her legs out a bit while the 93 sat at home waiting for us to return. Well, we got a little side tracked. A buddy had a private zip line course (4 lines totaling about a mile). It's on his property by where we were fishing so we gave up the fishing and went zip lining instead. Good times. Then came home put the rear springs and shocks on the 93. Gave her a shakedown run and she rides like a new truck. Very impressed with the Tough Dog springs and foam cell shocks that I got from Trail Tailor aka @reevesci. She is firm but cushiony on road. Then took her on a gravel/dirt road that was pretty rough. Incredibly impressed at 35-40 mph on gravel/dirt.

Here's a crappy pic of it.

And my son zip lining. He's got video of me zip lining. Good times. Next weekend we are going to have a paint ball war on the zip lines. Should be fun and painful.

Looks like knuckle rebuilds were popular this weekend, I should have mine wrapped up tomorrow. Was distracted by beer and football, oh and the SF Giants game!
