Got ready for the weekend:

New koyo aluminum radiator with fresh coolant
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced #1 bypass hose
Charged up the AC system

Big thanks to Brandon at TDC motors in Santa Clarita for fast and great work with very reasonable rates. Highly recommended if you are near and want something done right by someone else, very hard to find a good and honest mechanic!

Installed a new tfer case shift knob...my 11 year old son picked it out and helped install...
I installed something similar in mine a few years ago my son helped as well. When we got done we leaned back to take a look at it I asked him what he thought he said THATS COOL.

Rain will probably make them happy. Yay rain. We don't have it back home. Let's drive really fast now to McDonalds. The loser pays for lunch.

All you have to do to fend off Californians is to put up a big banner at the border: WE GET SNOW DURING WINTER!

That does not work, we have snow 4-5 months of the year (in fact had a winter advisory for elevations above 6000 feet last night 6/24, ) they are still on the way, CO was 1st now its us further north.

@mrsleeve
You should be safe then.

Second attempt today at getting the front shocks loose. I used a little Ryobi 18V impact gun, not heavy duty stuff. Could not get it loose.

Back to HB for a bigger impact tool. I'm thinking about Chicago Electric corded impact, rated at 230lb.
Oh yeah, and some better jack stands, the 6 ton ones.
I have a pair of 2 ton jack stands that scared me yesterday. One of them held up good, the second O could not get high enough on another piece of wood.
I think those stands are rated per pair. So the 2 ton set I got is probably 1 ton each. Not safe. And they're short too.

The 6 ton ones go up to 23.75", way better.

You need to head to the inland empire and find a Tractor Supply. They have really nice 6 ton jack stands, I have 3 pairs.
