Hit up Independence Pass in Colorado.

Was the whole thing open?
Cinnamon pass was. They had cleared a couple others but snow shifted and closed them. Not a whole lot open right now but had a great time hitting what we could.

Sure as hell ain't out east !
Yea, the blue ridge mountains don't see snow like that, EVER. And, if it did, it's gone within a day.

Drove from AZ to VA to get started on a project that I have been wanting to to do since I have owned my LC. I will post up a new thread detailing and documenting the entire build once it's under way. This will be done by a professional shop in Virginia by a guy that knows his stuff. I have all the parts ready to go. New GM EROD LS3 6.2 crate motor, all the Marks adapters, new 6L80E, Ron Davis radiator, and a DC Power 300 amp (at idle) alternator. I am looking forward to being able to pull a trailer through the mountains above 30 mph!

What shop are you working with? I may be right behind ya with the swap.

Roof Rack built, factory bumper modded. Headed back to the body shop for paint.

Did you add anything structutal behind the stock bumper to support the additional tubing, or is it more just for aesthetics?

Do you have a pic of it from further away?

Horsepower Solutions in Newport News. Check out his website and Facebook page for pictures of what he does. You might see my cruiser there.

If he is in VA are are really only 2 cruiser shops that could get it done. Forge Specialties and Iron Pig Off-road. Both very capable shops.

I have followed your posts and respect your knowledge and experience that you share with the membership. Thanks for that. I am confident that you will agree that the shop and more specifically the guy Josh that owns the shop is just as capable of doing these LS swaps than any shop out there. He is a very smart and one of the best tuners in the business. He has done a ton of LS and other swaps and is working on some impressive builds right now. Check out his shop and give him a call to share some of your secrets with him. ☺️

This shop is news to me but I am always looking for new shops and this isn't too far away from me so I might just go down and check it out in person. Thanks for the heads up!

That would be great. You and Josh will hit it off I'm sure. Make sure you check out the 280+ mph SLC they are building.

While you are there tell him to get going on my build already. LOL
