What tires are those on the brother!?![]()
Your brother's tires look like Lego Mud Terrains.
They look like Maxxis Trepadors.

Yea, the blue ridge mountains don't see snow like that, EVER. And, if it did, it's gone within a day.Sure as hell ain't out east !
mine does!Don't all 80s have a "d" green light?
Drove from AZ to VA to get started on a project that I have been wanting to to do since I have owned my LC. I will post up a new thread detailing and documenting the entire build once it's under way. This will be done by a professional shop in Virginia by a guy that knows his stuff. I have all the parts ready to go. New GM EROD LS3 6.2 crate motor, all the Marks adapters, new 6L80E, Ron Davis radiator, and a DC Power 300 amp (at idle) alternator. I am looking forward to being able to pull a trailer through the mountains above 30 mph!

Roof Rack built, factory bumper modded. Headed back to the body shop for paint.
What shop are you working with? I may be right behind ya with the swap.
If he is in VA are are really only 2 cruiser shops that could get it done. Forge Specialties and Iron Pig Off-road. Both very capable shops.
Horsepower Solutions in Newport News. Check out his website and Facebook page for pictures of what he does. You might see my cruiser there.
I have followed your posts and respect your knowledge and experience that you share with the membership. Thanks for that. I am confident that you will agree that the shop and more specifically the guy Josh that owns the shop is just as capable of doing these LS swaps than any shop out there. He is a very smart and one of the best tuners in the business. He has done a ton of LS and other swaps and is working on some impressive builds right now. Check out his shop and give him a call to share some of your secrets with him.![]()
This shop is news to me but I am always looking for new shops and this isn't too far away from me so I might just go down and check it out in person. Thanks for the heads up!
