Yes, blasting and painting the 4X4Labs rear bumper is on my list. I may sell it and go will a custom tube set up that incorporates rear quarter protection up to the passenger doors. Either way, there will be side protection added.
My Rear red/white hatch lighting works too good so I needed to mod my mod.
Night time pictures
I found a small touch dimmer (plus a lot of other functions I dont need) that remembered its setting when the power is off. This was important because I did not want to need to turn on the dimmer every time I open the hatch to get light. In the end I now have a selectable red/white light, dimming capabilities, with memory.

You know I was just having fun with you...
As for tube rear bumper, I really like what @Apounder did with his rear bumper. Also Trail Gear is coming out with tube bumpers very soon. I came across my bumpers for a good price, but I like the tube bumper look on my rigs the best. @Nay & @bugsnbikes has a good looking tube bumper also.
Almost done. We have to finish the jack mount and the fold down table behind the tire. After the final touches are done we will spray it with bedliner.

Looks like you did a thorough job. What sort of bender did you use? I'm tempted to by one but good ones are spendy and then there is the tubing that will be trashed during the learning process so I'm undecided on this tool purchase. Any input?

It's my buddy's bender. It used to be manual but now he has a hydraulic air activated piston. It's a simple set up on a stand and easy to use. I think he bought it used some years ago so no real input on your tool purchase. Sorry.
....before heading out to the futbol game, that's soccer to my north American Mud friends out there. I was literally a soccer mom in a Land Cruiser today....too cliche?
@AlohaJen I was there this summer with my daughter to play in a soccer tournament. That's a nice soccer facility with tons of soccer fields and open space...like nothing we have in Los Angeles!
