1. PASSED CALI SMOG TEST!!! After several years of non-op status now I can register and be street legal (almost...see #2)
2. Looked aimlessly for the Drivers side seat belt receiver mounting hole on the floor. It got covered up pretty good with sound deadener, padding and carpet...sigh....
3. Received Lloyd Northridge gray floor rubber floor mats for front, middle and rear cargo!

Yesterday was a fishing day. But between the rain and wind, only fishing spot was under the bridge. No problem for the fishing truck, gets me there, gets me back, every time.

Rockcrawling in the Gulf Coastal Plain of the SE.

After a week of soaking and fighting the last bolt holding in the passenger side seatbelt, I finally won and got it out! Yikes! Glad I found this while redoing the interior. This would not have held up in a crash. Jason at CruiserYard had a great used belt and that is getting sent off to Seat Belt Planet for rewebbing before install.

Today I bought a gunmetal grey 1988 hj62 (12ht 5 speed manual with 470000k's on it) for $3300 sight unseen from the second owner of it..... Now for a 1200km round trip to drive it home.... Will look good in the drive next to my 1982 Hj60 (2h 5 speed manual).... Then I will swap all the good bits from the 60 to the 62, and sell the 60 once the 'new' one proves reliable....

Not on the weekend, but a bunch of Land Cruisers gathered on Gandy bridge here in Tampa bay last Wednesday evening. They seem to be as common as corolla's around here.

Went on the Rising Sun Club's Ghost Town Run in my '62. I caught air (spring plate on rock), popped a tie rod end apart (wired it together), and enjoyed wheeling the truck with my daughter.
