Was on the fence but decided to tint after the 86 degree winter here in SoCal! My old tint was bubbling and peeling everywhere and the tint place gave me a nice pay with cash deal!

I towed 2000# of firewood and trailer in a snowstorm, offroad, up steep hills (with a running start). At 7000' elevation, the old 3FE was howling for mercy to get this load moving up to speed when I got back out to the paved roads. If I did this kind of towing regularly, or for long distances, it would be behind my PowerChoke, not behind the wheezing FJ62, but it was fun.

This sounds like a story my grandfather use to tell me.................... HA!

Mr Tibbs - I just realized you have white and red taillight lenses. No Amber. Must be a JDM thing.

Took this super corroded amp out of the cruiser! Fun times!

Installed the FJ62 seat back I sourced from CruiserYard. Couldn't be happier we having rear headrests or dealing with CruiserYard.

Maybe so, either way I like it!:)

Holy hell!! Has that been in there since the early 90's??!!
Well my GF bought the cruiser in 2002 and it was already in there, so it very well could have been! Plus it didn't help that for the past year the poor cruiser was sitting near the Puget Sound. :P That salt air was not kind to the aluminum parts under the hood.

Started dismantling my new rear axle.

Just got Dorothy back from the shop! Completely rebuilt motor along with full desmog, dual battery setup with SS trays (enjoying the new found real estate) and installed a new Smittybilt x20 winch! Cruising to work right now and one happy dude!! Next up: knuckle rebuild and sound deadening!

Actually got my front wheel hub lockers to move this past Weekend. Added a bit of grease and replaced the gaskets, engages / disengages like new now. Might actually be able to take it off road for possibly the first time in its life...

My winter beater is getting new axles and shocks so the 60 did commute duty today in the salt none the less, so I gave it a nice wash. She turns heads everywhere.

Drove from San Francisco to San Diego for some good surfing and nice weather and had a blast. 62 didn't skip a beat, although I did get towed:bang:

congrat's man - post a pic of the engine bay if you get a chance.

Drove the 2001 FJ100 up to Traverse City, Michigan for the annual Winter Comedy Arts Festival. After a couple of days of sitting outside in sub-zero temps, I was happy she started.

Oaks. try holding your brake pedal down hard and see if it sinks lower. if it sinks you have a hydraulic problem. if it doesn'tlose fluid then your master is kaput.

Couldn't lift the diff out by hand? Lol. Work smarter, not harder!

It was a little stuck... I tapped downwards on the housing once with a mallet and it popped loose. When you are a lightweight like me you have to use mechanical advantage. :)

Removed oil cooler tube and clean all the years of crud!

Installed small hose that attaches to that tube and lower water pump.
Dealer parts
Replaces housing hoses!
