A quick easy fix to keep from damaging my hood. Wanted to share for anyone else having the same problem. The adjustable front hood bumpers like to break internally long before the rubber is kaput. There's a large shoulder on the screw that will eventually break and slide down, bringing the rubber with it and exposing the screw head to the point where it could punch through the lower sheet metal on the hood. I grabbed a fender washer and an M8x1.25 flanged nut from my stash for each bumper and secured it all back into place. Now the hood settles on the rubber and I don't have to worry myself about ordering new bumpers for a good long time. I seem to remember they're inexpensive anyway, but it's nice to not have to wait for shipping when such an easy fix is available.

Looks awesome! However, my eye is drawn to the big blank spot in the drivers position. I’m no graphic designer, but to my amateur eye it seems like something should be there….

What radio do that belongs to? Didn't know other models can match up
Good question. Here's a link to the same radio for sale, but I'm not trying to promote this site, the same radio is for sale for a lot less $$ elsewhere. Just an FYI:

The radio I have was manufactured in 1999, so it could fit in many different Toyota models from that year. Sienna, 4-runner, etc.

As far as fitment goes...the FJ62 will physically fit just about any double din radio by transferring the OEM mounting brackets to the new radio. Wiring, amps and speakers may need to be modified from what I understand.

Hope that helps

My boys drive Rootbeer at night sometimes. Old headlights were not safe. City Racer LEDs. Nice upgrade.

Just an observation, but I spend more time and money working on the Ol'Lady's 'O3 Yukon.
That says a lot being my 87 LC is my daily and I use it around Moab. Imagine that🤔🙂

Hmmmmm interesting. My indicator quit working when I swapped over to the city racer lights. Figured the bulb was dead so I changed it. Still doesn’t work. I thought it was an issue with the relay or something. Now I’m even more curious. I bet it went out at the same time and it’s just coincidence, but it’s the only light in the truck that does not work.

Mine is a 24v HJ60. Even though it is 24v, light circuit is 12v. I am not using the LED modules that came with the kit. Straight plug and play. When I tried to hook up LED modules it blew some fuses. When wired without them directly to the harness, worked like a champ.
