Installed City Racer window welts and Wagon Gear window locks. Haven’t tackled the windshield yet. The cargo windows weren’t all that bad. The hatch was hell. Wore a blister almost the entire length of my index finger.
Also did a quick hand buff of the hatch and tailgate. still need to figure out the chrome around the windows on the doors.

Not fancy, but fixed my broken hinge on my center console. Used a continuous/piano hinge, cut down to size, instead. So much better. This thing now closes solid and and does not have any play in it like the old plastic hinge.

Fixed part of what the hit an run did. Side markers from City Racer and turn signal lense from Toyota.
Also changed the oil. Kinda sad the dealer doesn’t even carry the drain plug gasket anymore. I miss CruiserDan...

Looks great! You can chorme-delete the window frame with vinyl wrap. There are tons of kits you can find on Amazon for very little money.

Today I installed a ‘Carter’ 100gallon per hour / 7 psi lift pump to my hj61 to test if it solves a hesitation I am having at 2500rpm after getting the engine rebuilt.
It was a bit of a mongrel to install due to the fuel and brake lines and is pretty exposed, so will see how it goes…

Installed the 4Plus Classic rear bumper today and hopefully will have time for wiring tomorrow. Ordering a new suspension on Tuesday.

Got the engine accessories reassembled, installed and started it! Managed to run-in the cam, almost roadworthy- happy to be on the home stretch.

Somehow failed to take any photos including the truck, but took it out camping on the Deschutes for a little fly fishing and some desert sun. I think I have the carb tuned properly and climbing hills is just a leisurely affair in a loaded 60, but I do find myself wanting more top-end power. At least the new accelerator piston bellows seems to keep the float bowl from boiling out overnight, making starting much easier.

I checked my oil pressure sender wiring after reading on here that it's commonly connected incorrectly to the flat spade instead of the tip terminal, and now instead of reading full high on the scale, it doesn't read at all. I suppose that means the gauge is cooked?

sounds like it. Oil pumps seldom are an issue, but sending units are.

Loaded up the 60 with the fam and camping gear and headed to Plumtree NC.
Camped all weekend and made some memories!

Just some new Denso injectors from Osidetiger. Great folks. Also had been putting off the oil galley plug fix for 2 months due to fear. Did it yesterday. Used a grease dipped tampon into the head bolt tube to catch the filings and went slow tapping to m8x1.25. I was surprised at how much play there was when I inserted the Allen plug. . I should have used the tapered tap so it would seat nicely but I used the blunt tip tap so it basically could screw into the head bolt tube. When I realized this, I used a 16mm long m8 and seated a second one behind this. The second was an 8mm. Hope that makes sense. D
