Took my rig to Moab so I
could meet up with a buddy and ride motorcycles. My 60 carried my bike on the back without an issue. Moab was completely slammed with tourist.

Boy that would've been nice. Turned out I needed a new valve cover gasket and the bolt grommets. Had to pay $85 for them altogether at Appleway because I was in a pinch. I was NOT a happy camper about that. Kicking my ass because I should've expected to need them but it didn't hit me until I had everything apart. If you have a Costco membership their Auto Buying program gives you 15% off parts at LHM Toyota. Helps a bit.
I stayed home all weekend. Sunday was gridlocked from 10 AM to 3. I hope you didn't get stuck in that situation.Took my rig to Moab so IView attachment 2469151View attachment 2469152 could meet up with a buddy and ride motorcycles. You can bypass with an inline 30A fuse if it keeps tripping. Mind would trip on high and I tried another with the same result. Bypassed a couple years ago.Small stuff. Last year I'd have my fan running and it would intermittently shut off then a short time later turn on. This no matter what speed it was set. Cooler weather is setting in and having a functional heating system will be nice. I pulled a circuit breaker and fan relay out of my parts stash thinking I would replace both. Once I pulled out the old CB I noted that it is some no-name aftermarket CB and I replaced with an OEM unit. Quick test and the fan seems to run better. Full test coming this week.

A co-worker 3D printed me a sweet radio face plate and support bracket for my 60. Currently have some issues with the sound “clipping” I believe, but I believe it’s due to weak grounds or the fact that I still use the factory “shared ground” for the alpine type S door speakers. Sound is fine at lower volume but gets staticy and poppy when turned up. Any ideas?
Edit: figured it out. It was the common ground.
what type of dirtbike carrier are you using? I have a Honda XR650l I'd like to take around on a carrier but sorta scared about the weightTook my rig to Moab so IView attachment 2469151View attachment 2469152 could meet up with a buddy and ride motorcycles. The deck has its own ground in the harness, and the speakers share another ground. Removing the shared speaker ground and only grounding one of the speakers fixed it. I don’t know how, but it did. What was your fix? Add an additional ground to the deck?

Good gosh man!! Bravo for getting rid of it all! Did you delete the items using those or figure out a cleaner setup?I while back I got rid of some grounds n positives and got rid of the electrical electrical noise...
