I did, ya. I wasn’t having issues either really, until I installed a temp gauge and saw how warm it ran. The Derale cooled 30 degrees more than the B&M did.

Let me drag you over to the discussion on this on this thread. Mishimoto MMOC-F Transmission Cooler

The guys that responded there are definitely not in favor of a fan cooler. I have evoked your moniker there.

Oreilly said they had rear axle seals. I said what the heck. Let’s try it out and see if I can drive again by Monday. Busted into the diff and got the axle shaft out. The replacement seals I have are too small... should have just called Kurt. Lesson learned. Again.
Does marlin Crawler make a rear axle seal for the 60?

You're in that deep, you might consider replacing the bearings while all is apart.

Yes I figured as much. I had the rear diff swapped out with a front diff that had around 10,000 miles on it. Robbie Antonson did that job about three years ago. He called the bearings good, replaced the seal and dropped that third member in there. I don’t detect any abnormal movement out of the bearings but was thinking maybe that’s why the new seal went out. In any event today, I just wanted to put it back together with new brakes and drive it. It’s almosy February in Colorado and I’m about to toss my bicycle into the river because I’m over it at this point. I should have known to order the rear build kit from Kurt when I ordered the stuff for the front end...

Lots of 60’s at the shop today...
a valve adjustment on the nice grey 62 and some frame repair and 1/4 chop on the rusty silver 60 :hillbilly:

I was also up late last night starting to work on my new top secret big brake kit (for 16” wheels)

So far today.

Took this and installed it. Took about an hour once I had the right jack. Yes that is my H55f.
Now to hook everything else up, cleanup that rust on the opening ans install the carpet.

Which way are you going to send that breather hose? Engine bay to the firewall? Smart move swapping the valve out.

Played bumpers a bit more yesterday...preliminary wiring of the lights complete!
And got the “manual operated beverage de-sealing device” installed...

Love the bottle opener and the bright yellow hooks (such a girl, I can’t remember their name). My friend last night installed very white leds in his new 4Runner and nanthey were so stark white. Totally dig the visibility from them.

I finally ordered some new tires for it. 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeak AT3’s. It needed new tires like 7 years ago and never got them.

Post some pics when you get it mounted, I will go with same size but not too many choices out there.
Is this going on a stock chrome rim?

Bumper looks great. Something that pretty would stress me out.

The opener is a necessary piece of gear - every 60 needs one.

I don't haul the Hi-lift around that way anymore
