Pacer center caps on outlaw 2 wheels. Local tire shop sourced them.

Looking forward to some overlanding on mountain 2-tracks. My 14yr old son is due for some time behind the wheel in 4-low. Got fishing poles and most camping gear ready to escape the mobs that will resend on Moab for the holiday weekend. We need to find camping sites that are inaccessible to RV's. I'm so glad I have a 60!

Installed one of these dual USB chargers in the dash. I used the one on the top from that link and it's not a perfect fit. Top to bottom is good but side to side it's a little bit small, so I had to fill the gap around it. I probably should have gotten the lower one since it says it fits the 60, but I didn't like the dangling plug. (it only just now occurred to me that I could have just cut it off. Duh. o_O)

It looks okay but not quite as clean as I'd like. Nobody will probably ever notice but me, though, so I'll call it good.

A little fun on LaSal pass. It is a very bumpy road. Wish I had brought the 12v air compressor as airing down would have been much more comfortable. The slide rock section looked smooth but big rocks were shifting like the whole mountain was gonna slide. It was a great trail, mostly in 2nd low but no way was I gonna let the lad drive. Lots of loose rocks but traction was never a problem. Clearance was a concern in many places. It was nice to get up to that cool rarified air. Still a little snow above 10,000 ft.

Got my new pan gasket and side cover gasket on. Now it just leaves a big spot of oil instead of a river. More to address but it is nearly good enough for some use finally. I'm putting a lift and 33's on my 40 so Louise inherited the steelies and 30" stt pros. Looks more fitting now with all of the dents. I also threw on the grille and lamp covers off the parts 60 to get rid of the blacked out grille.

Excited to use her!

Converted a smog pump to on board air :) Should be good for 20cfm@100psi
That’s awesome. Guide me please! I remember way back reading about using the AC compressor the same way.

@MoaByte... he got us both on that smog pump compressor. Interesting idea but alas a joke!
Tho turning the AC compressor into an air compressor is a real mod.

Jim, I'm very disappointed. You posted all of those photographs and not one features some kind of swamp critter. :)

Guess it's time for a Swamp Critter thread :D
