Thanks - the adventure level was pushing the edge of my comfort zone.
Yesterday was the most seat time I ever had in the FJ60. The factory seat foam is shot and my butt is sore. I have a case of envy regarding those seats of yours.
Took #FitzJ60 and the boy out for a night.

I saw another near twin while i was out this weekend.

Went on a camping trip with some friends around Mt. Hood and got some glamor shots!
Drove around 600 miles from Quincy, CA to St.George,UT with my little family. We're going to be staying here for a month or so to enjoy/explore Utah's beauty.

Medano Pass heading West is a very cool trail Jim. Once you hit the summit and start down towards the dunes every turn is just awesome. Dispersed camping is nice up there too. Might need to do that again.
That was our 3rd trip over Medano and have enjoyed each of them. The trail is always different - water level, condition of the sand, what flowers are blooming...etc. And the dunes are surreal.
If you ever decide to run Medano again, let me know. Don't think we'll ever get tired of it.

Here's part two of the Overland Expo 2018 from Flagstaff, Arizona. Had to stop before I could complete the whole story of Overland due to "Wife Honey do list"
Here a picture of a FJ79 with the following basic equipment of; diesel turbo V8, manual 5 speed tranny, solid front and rear axles !!!!!! You can see the other off road extras.
Here's a new start up company call LC America that is planning to to import Cruises like this into the United States from over sea. This one is a 2017 FJ79 with V8 turbo diesel with manual transmission, front coil springs, leaf springs in the read and solid axles. They think that they well have all their paperwork and some EPA and safety up grade completed by September of 2018. LC America plan on also up grading tires, suspension, off road lights, front bumper and more. Price will be about 70-80k.

4runner arms upgrade. Can't believe I paid $12 for each one of these bottom wiper plastic covers. Finally installed the WagonGear tailgate storage panel.
Almost made it...
I also did a full tune up including a coolant change. I hope I pass emissions otherwise I'm tearing into the carb next weekend.

Found some cool metal 1958 Oldsmobile speaker grills that somewhat match the factory front grills. Painted them brown to match.
