So I’m curious if the front seats are stock or from another vehicle. I saw the same pattern (believe it was project X) and I plan on doing the same thing. I’ve even sourced some 323 manual seats for the project. Also, don’t have to share the Upolstry cist but I’m curious if you felt it was outrageous. Thanks.
My seat were all original. I save the cloth part and the rest are vinyl to match the original vinyl. I got the idea from project x (thank you). I love how the horizontal lines flow together with the door panels. Need to redo the carpets next.

Picked up some pellets for the winter.
Day trip! It was a “windy bitch” today, as uncle Dude is fond of saying, too windy for trout. Only one brown today. Beautiful light in the high country though.

Drove it to the mountains and back
Full tune up on my 87' FJ60. Adjusted valves (cold method), OEM plugs, OEM wires, OEM fuel filter, OEM PCV valve, OEM air filter, and put my brand spanking new rebuilt (by Willamette Blvd service center here in PDX) carb on. She's running pretty well but I'm getting pinging under load specifically going up hill. I haven't checked the timing yet but will tomorrow after work. Ran out of time. Anyone have any other recommendations to get rid of the pinging?
It’s 99% timing.
Drove it 175 miles to get 19.5mpg one way. Then drove it back 175 to get 18.5 mpg the other way.
