I had the pleasure of testing out a soon to be released product by @Racer65 . A reproduction of the NLA 3FE air intake hose #1 (1788161090 ). Fit and finish of this hose was perfect! Very exciting to see essential pieces coming back to the market for the 60 series family. :steer: Thanks @Racer65

When's #2 coming along? :)

Hell if I know. If history is any indication it won't be around forever.
Ha, well if it is it would be a good idea to get one now before they are gone. Especially since the accordion section of that hose is known to crack and cause vacuum leaks as they age.

Word of caution to all those who replace the spider in the steering column u-joint by the firewall... when taking out and installing the spider and cups replace the clamp bolt, and use washers to fill the gap. This strengthens the clamp area so this doesn't happen----->:slap:

Thanks to @mel lowe and @Godwin for the help and replacement yoke:cheers:

Made some slow but steady progress on my LS swap.

Environmentalist everywhere are crying:cry: over the abuse of that turtle.:D
Abuse?! Its getting a feelie on every shift in its amazing cousin of speed.

I think it's set to Celsius not Fahrenheit.

My mistake, makes much better sense. Old enough to rely on F and stuck in C in Canada.

Creeped up on this guy the other day on the highway. I never see 60/62's out on the road here in Hawaii, so I always photo stalk them when I do! Looked nice, albeit a little rusty.

And spotted this guy from a third story restaurant window in Town. Looked good from a distance. Can't wait to get my 60 back on the road soon!!!

When you own them, you see them more often and spot them a mile away!

Pulled the upper lift gate yesterday to try and tackle some rust spots that were showing up as well as fix the defroster ground tab. Fixed the, thankfully just starting, rust and then subsequently broke my rear defroster. There are three plugs when you pull the lift gate, one larger and two smaller (one with a red wire and one with a black). When I reattached everything I have power to the rear wiper but now the defroster plug does not get any power, tested at the window as well as at the plug in the headliner and NOTHING. Wondering if the one time the lift gate slipped while I was attempting to get it down I yanked the wires too hard and busted something. Not hooked up backwards as they don't have matching plugs.

Pulled the Webasto today. It stopped working when the exhaust got plugged with frozen mud.
Stupid mistake. Took it to Inland Kenworth, met a service manager who understands my obsession, so
tomorrow I'll go in and we'll take it apart and see what it wrong. Then if it happens on the road again,
I'll have an idea and a place to call for parts. Small town service, can't be beat!

I have a 22km commute to work each day, and would see 3 or 4 every day... they seem to be increasing in numbers - there aren't to many other 30odd year old cars getting around that you see on a daily basis in such numbers!

put in a cheap set of Wagner headlights for both low and high beams as the originals OEM lights (yes OEM) on my 89 FJ62 were getting a little yellow. I couldn't believe the difference that made! WOW, I mean before I felt like there were a couple of whale oil lanterns up there getting low on wick, now it's as bright as ever. $28 for all four from AMAZON and free shipping. Guess that means I finally need to replace my failing / faulty turn signal dimmer switch!

There are many write-ups about the dimmer switch, easy fix, save your money on this one.

Where are the plugs behind the headliner? I was tried looking under part of the headliner the other day but didn't see anything.
